Marco Ferretti Nero Men's Leather Biker Boots

I purchased these boots for $41.00 in April 2015. They were one of four pairs of motorcycle boots that I own. Although I called them "motorcycle boots," I would wear them most often when I was not on the bike because although they were comfortable, there was no way these boots were going to hold up to motorcycle use. The shifter would have destroyed them in no time. But, like I said, they were comfortable and they look good. After less than two years of very light wear, the heel has separated from the boot. Although disappointed, my thought was that for $41 I would try another pair.I came back to Amazon hoping that on this purchase I would get more than two years of extremely light wear out of them. However, they are now $81. The price has doubled in less than two years. I felt they were worth the price of $41, I would not buy this boot at an $81 price.

The sole ripped off as I was removing one of these boots. This was after less than 4 hours of total wear. The other boot's sole could be easily ripped off by hand as well.

So, I can't complain for how cheap they were! At $42, you won't find better quality boots. I personally have wide feet and really wish that they sold wide options, but I'm making due with what I've got. I broke in the boots wearing some thick wool socks that left absolutely no wiggle room for my feet and I feared that I'd have to send them back, but a few days later, the boots were fitting much more comfortably. There was not room, however, for my orthotics with my feet in them - again, a problem that could probably be alleviated if they had a wide option.As far as looks go, I've had equal compliments and comments of "Nice boots!" and "Suede boots?" or "You got yourself some girl boots?" So... depending on who you deal with on a daily basis and how you carry yourself, be warned. Honestly, it doesn't bother me a bit and I rather enjoy wearing them everywhere.

I read that they tend to fit small and I wanted to put inserts into them and wear them with thicker socks so I ordered an 8.5 as opposed to an 8. Once I added the inserts which are used primarily for running and made to fit my feet and adjusted the straps they fit comfortably. I have only worn them one day, as a test to see if they would work from me need. I am surprised that they were comfortable all day, I had thick socks on so my feet got hot but then that is to be expected. I plan on wearing them to an event in the mountains where it will be cold and i will be walking a lot. I will append this after my event but I am optimistic at this time.

I was somewhat hesitant about getting these boots for riding. After wearing them for a couple weeks I find them to be very comfortable. The straps on the outside are mostly for show. I bought the same size i usually wear and the boots fit fine. I also ride a sport bike so I was somewhat concerned about shifting with these boots. The boots are east to shift with and comfortable to ride in. Well worth the buy.

These boots are surprisingly good for the price point. I was half expecting faux leather but they are real leather. The soles are rubber and look a little cheap at first, but that's probably only because I'm scrutinizing them. To the casual looker they look perfectly fine. The buckles are adjustable, which is great. My boot's arrive a little too lose around the ankle for my liking but a simple adjustment sorted that right out.They're a little wide, but that works perfect for me since I have wide feet. However, if you have narrow feet they may be a little too wide for you. I would recommend and purchase again.

Heel separated from boot within 2 months... Poor customer service. Called for return or exchange and was informed nothing can be done after 30 days. Recommended I "fix them myself with super glue"....Really? Nice boot but not recommended.

These do run a little big; I ordered half a size down from my usual shoe size, and I think I could have afforded to go down a full size, since after wearing them in there is a little more wiggle room than I'd generally like. However, they're great for everyday wear, have held up well, and look great. Lots of character but not too flashy, and the price is right. I'll probably get another pair when I wear these out.
