Marianne Williamson is so loving, and so full of wisdom, that reading her is like giving your soul a warm bubble bath, with scented candles burning, and a glass of wine in hand. The cares of the material world just drop away, and you feel both soothed and refreshed at the same time. Her words speak directly to our battered souls who endure a material world intent on making us think we're unworthy of anything. And as Marianne says, 'we're not depressed because the world is depressed, the world is depressed because we are'. No kidding.So, Marianne's latest book speaks to us about abundance, and her timing could be better. We could all use some abundance just to keep up with this depressed world's economy. Marianne takes us through, first who we are, and why we ALL deserve God's abundance, to why we don't have it, and how we can get it. Throughout every chapter you find short guided prayers and meditations that can start us on our way to having all the we could ever dream of in this world.And, ironically, it's by giving up the world and concentrating on who we really are, that we are rewarded with the abundance of the world. Doesn't every parent want the best for their child? Can we expect anything less from our loving Creator/parent/father/mother/God?Starting off with a quote by the brilliant, and very spiritual Albert Einstein, Marianne totally sums up her book. "The most important decision we make is whether we believe we live in a friend or a hostile universe." Over my many years on Earth, I've noted that people get exactly what they expect out of life. Marianne tells us why this is.Chapter by chapter, she shows us how to not only have abundance in our lives, but how to live better, richer, more loving, and fulfilling lives. Marianne says that the only thing blocking us from God's abundance(love personified) is our shutting ourselves off from love. And isn't that the truth. Put love first in your life, and you'll be amazed at how the universe rewards you. As I've always told our children, and anyone else unfortunately to be around when I get on my soapbox, is do what you LOVE and you'll always be happy. Do what you love and the money will flow towards you because you'll be doing it with passion, and excitement, and you'll be a joy to be around. People can't help but want to be around someone passionate about what they're doing because it's magnetic. See, I can't even give a review without getting on my 'do what you love' soapbox.But seriously, Marianne Williamson is a wonderful writer and she gives us just what we need to feel whole and loved by God our creator. And the only thing I didn't like about this book was the cover. It looks dated, and a bit depressing. Marianne should be on the cover because she practically glows with soul light.

This is a must-have book and also a great book to give as a gift.

Great book and provides action items for you to implement into your own life. This is the second book I have read from this author and they both have a similar theme……love.

This short but powerful book helped me realign my thoughts, actions and words when it comes to work, a calling, money and finances. It was right on time for me during this stage in my journey. The prayers are amazing!

I am 59 years old and have just lost everything I own. I am starting again with such faith and confidence, which is very different to how I was before I read this book. She has literally saved me and set me on a new wondrous voyage. I have lived my life, brought up a daughter from a a very young age, had many long term relationships, been battered emotionally by life, yet I survived through sheer grit and determination never taking the time to look deep to heal wounds and to set boundries. The recession in South Africa over the last 3 years affected my business and I made some pretty stupid decisions and got involved with the wrong people. After a protracted court case which I won, the company went into voluntary liquidation which meant I lost everything. Because I know and believe that I am in exactly the right place at the right time, I looked very deeply at what caused this situation and why. It started with me and ends with me. What lessons I learned! I wake every morning with a prayer on my lips, energy to get through the day regardless of banks and creditors phoning me. Marianne, I thank you from the bottom of my heart for reminding me that God is my partner, that I am protected and that things can change in an instant when I ask. I’ve listened to this book multiple times.Marianne Williamson’s voice is so soothing. And everything makes perfect since. I recognize how I block money- and love - in so many ways.Highly recommend!I have several of her other books and she always makes me think and reflect.

Its a good book but kind of feels New Age religion type of reading. Ive never read the Secret but from what ive heard this sounds similar by putting things out in the universe and thats not how God works if its not his will we wont recieve it. Our will must line up with our Fathers will God is not Santa so its a bit misleading in that area.

This is one of those books which you find yourself reading so slowly because you’re writing down so many quotes. Wise, beautiful, inspiring, comforting - I suspect this is a book I shall return to very frequently.

This book has change my life. I listen to this book practically everyday. Now I have started to see miracles happen. Thank you Marianne Williamson for your prays and encouraging words.Should anyone need some direction in your life I recommend this book. I have now brought this book in Audio & Kindle fantastic.

Many of the concepts in this book I am familiar with, but the way Marianne packages the concepts with the teachings from A Course in Miracles, spoke to me in a way that I hadn't heard before. There are so many valuable lessons in this book, I am grateful that after purchasing months before I was finally ready to read it and know that I will return to it many times over the months and years
