Exceeded my expectations by a long way!!!
Fantastic alternative to a new stereo for older cars. I just bought a used car that has an old stereo with no aux input or Bluetooth connection. Purchased this with very little expectations for the price and I was pleasantly surprised. Took less than 30 seconds to set up and connect to the radio and immediately connected via Bluetooth to all our phones and even the kids iPads. We have set up an iPhone 8plus, iPhone 12 mini, iPhone xr, Sony Xperia 5iii and a 3rd and 4th generation iPad, all connected immediately with no issues. Sound quality is as good as your car speakers will allow, so the same as your regular stereo in there. No lagging or connection drops. Quality for phone calls is perfect. Like how it will play your music via Bluetooth whilst also using the phone sat nav, sat nav voice plays over the music with the music quietening down, just like the in car Bluetooth. If a call comes through the music pauses and resums after call. Excellent buy and an absolute bargain!! Will definitely be recommending to friends wishing to upgrade their in car stereo system.

WAS WORRIED......BUT IT TURNED OUT OKAY
Plugged it in to the cigarette lighter socket in my old banger and the device came up immediately with 108.0FM as the suggested open frequency, as indeed it should, since here in UK 108.0 and 87.5 should always be unused ..... except where an illegal pirate station has jumped on them! Luckily, I live in the law-abiding countryside and not a city jungle, so that worked fine. Manually tuned the car radio to 108.0 and put it on one of the radio's preset buttons. Job done. Paired the device with my phone - dead easy. So far, so good. Played some music on the phone. Ahhh! - got the very loud background hiss that many other reviewers complain about. Tried a USB drive that I use in our other (more modern!) car. A female voice announced, "Music" ..... and then nothing! At this stage, things weren't looking good so I went indoors and thought about it for a bit. I checked the format of the tracks on the USB, and all of them were MPEG 4, which is the default setting for stuff transferred via itunes. This device only plays MP3 (and a couple of others that I've never heard of). Changed the settings on itunes to MP3 and transferred a CD to a spare USB. Success! - worked fine and no serious hiss. Since this, and the charging capability, were all I really wanted from the device, I'm now happy - apart from the fact that I have to do a whole bunch of format conversions! Then I tried the Bluetooth phone again but this time turning down the volume on the car radio to lose the hiss and turning up the volume on the phone. Much, much better - certainly usable. So although I thought I might have bought a turkey, it's turned out all right in the end and I'm delighted that I can now play my own music via USB in my old banger rather than being limited to FM stations on its antediluvian radio. And you really can't ask more than that for the price....

A little crackly
Used to update a 2010 car. Did have Bluetooth for basic phone calls but unable to stream music etc .Works fine : added bonus that you can forward tracks from the transmitter on your playlist so don’t need a phone holder if you don’t need to see your phone !Easy to connect !

Cheap and cheerful
Easy to use, gives the voltage when first powered up which can be handy. I've been using it for a couple of years now, mostly just for the pause and skip controls as my car has a fairly primitive Bluetooth input. The volume is on the low side and it's possible to hear interference from the car's electrical systems when I turn up the radio to compensate, but it sounds pretty good as long as the sound is turned up at the adaptor and the sending device.

Brilliant, compact, a dream for older vehicles without comprehensive radio/Bluetooth systems
This little device has unlocked the wonderful missing features, that evade older vehicles; older vehicles that, say, can't take a different radio other than the one that came with the car, otherwise it kills the battery? Yep, at a loss for phone connectivity, until this bit of kit came along.Plug in to the 12v, automatically turns on, select a radio frequency on device, match it with a vacant radio frequency in your car (manual auto-tune), connect to device via Bluetooth, and you are in.Not only that, it remembers the frequency setting if unplugged. Useful for older vehicles, ones that, say, get a drained battery from leaving something in the 12v socket for more than a day, for example.Bluetooth is instant response (this might be subjective to the age of your phone, so could be subjective). Select a track or use any button, the phone acts instantlyNice instant connectivity via Bluetooth when you get in and car turns on with device plugged in - phone has no notable lag there either. Its tidy, well built, and sits discretely in the socket, so I personally don't see as a security risk to your car if left in there.NOTE: One slightly less positive finding (again, could be subjective to your vehicle) but when selecting the vacant fm frequency on your car radio, once connected to the device and by extension the phone, there is a very faint radio fm hiss in the background. I played with the volume dials on both car and device and its not a hiss from the kit. By fiddling with the car volume (lower) and the device volume (higer), it helps along with your music playing to cover it up. Alas, this might just boil down to simply using an fm frequency. Others may not find this, but don't be disheartened if you do, the device operation and functionality makes up for it. You'll probably only notice it in the background with your music off, in a field in the middle of nowhere! An excellent product and price, thank you.

Top ding

Tut was es soll. Für den Preis ganz OK. Wenn man zu laut macht, kommt manchmal etwas kratzen durch. Aber ist in Ordnung.
