Got them for my sons room and for some other things around the house! Great for the money and durable

They are pretty and brass. They are made for tacking things up (supposedly with your thumb, lol) to things like a cork board or a wall. DO NOT try to push these into even soft wood. The little weld holding the pin to the "press" (as it were) comes right off, slides away, and then that metal tack finds its way into your finger, most often right under the nail.Trying to do so with a small tack hammer bends or breaks them straight away.I wanted them for the gold color but since the silver ones from that office store are about 5X stronger, I guess they will be silver.

These are what they say they are, tacks. They did what I wanted them to do and I am happy with them.

They did the job. My partner bent a few, so they're not all that strong, but there's a lot of them so in the end, it was fine.

I was just looking for some cheap thumbtacks to hang a balloon garland for my sons birthday and these worked perfect!

Our cat loves to tip over trash cans in the bathroom in order to steal all the used Q-Tips and shred them to pieces. In order to persuade our cat not to do this, I was planning on getting a large piece of cardboard to surround our trash cans, then cover it on one side with double-sided tape. Then, I would attach hundreds of these here brass tacks to the cardboard so that whenever the cat got near the trash can, he would think twice.But.....we just got trash cans that closed instead.
