Great quality kit to repair the instruments in your GM dash module.
I found this kit worked extremely well to repair several of my nonfunctioning guages in my 2005 Chevy 3500 instrument module. The video should be watched first, before removing the stepper motors and replacing them with the new ones. This is a complete kit and the replacement parts are first quality. The price is very good. The shipping was fast and the kit was packed well. I recommend this seller for this stepper motor repair kit.

Everything appeared to be good quality. Replaced three motors on my 2005 suburban
Product arrived as described. Everything appeared to be good quality. Replaced three motors on my 2005 suburban, tach/speedo/oil pressure. Works great so far. Was pretty straightforward. I have minimal soldering experience and did not find this too difficult. My only recommendation is to not buy the cheap "solder suckers" you see on amazon. I bought the blue $5 one and it was useless. You have to get the tip of the sucker so close to the solder puddle and the space is very tight. I just used the solder iron to heat up the solder and applied tension to the motor at the same time, pulling it one side at a time. By the time I did my third one it took me about 1-2 minutes to get the motor off. Make sure you straighten the pins on the back before removing as well. Didnt change any bulbs, may do that next as one seems dim. Good luck.

Fixed My Cluster
I’m not an electronics guy but this was very easy to do. Hardest part was getting the old one out and that wasn’t really hard.

Works great!
We fixed two vehicles with this kit, my Trailblazer and my friend's Tahoe. Her son had them both done in one night and our dashboards are working again.

Appear to be genuine Switec...
No comparison between the factory steppers and these. All but one was serviceable, but I still replaced all of the steppers. Factory units had some of the stops ruined and the cogging from step to step was not even and linear like the new ones. You can feel it turning by hand. These appear to be legit Switec steppers. One word though. Not enough bulbs to replace the backlighting, but the bigger problem is that one of them was defective. I know these bulbs are cheap, but you really should have a way to power this board up out of the vehicle... as one bulb I replaced was half brightness compared to the others... and it was extremely hot. The potential to melt plastic was pretty high with this oddball bulb. The filament must of had an internal short causing more amp draw and less light output, but if one simply replaced parts before testing, you may have a serious problem with plastic longevity.Would buy again if needed. I’d do an LED upgrade as well but I like the OE look at night and it’s less fiddling at the end of the day.

Dissappointed in the Doctor
Not as easy as they make it look. Ended up sending to dr. Speedometer I think 4 times. Eveytime I got the cluster back something else woul not work. The speedometer works a good thing. The cruise does Not work now though. I dont reccomend dr speedometer. You can not talk to a person. Correspond email only. Would not go that route again.
