Last Confection 12" x 18" x 2" Deep Rectangular Aluminum Cake Pan - Professional Bakeware

I am a, buy USA made products, kind of person. I try to buy USA products when I can. I did a search for bake pans made in the USA and these came up. They are not made in the USA which is a deceptive issue. So I docked stairs. Either the seller is adding tags with USA or Amazon needs to redo there listing algorithms. OK, as for the product, it does seem to be a sturdy pan. Nothing fancy looks a little like a pan that has been used for awhile but very well maintained. It doesn't have the luster of a new product. So probably more on the industrial side. Which is good since it seems like they would last a long time. Since they are made in China though, the price is on the steep side.

The moment I took this pan out of the box, I thought “I love this pan”. I made my first sheet cake yesterday. The sharp edges made it possible to bake my cake into two separate layers and stack them without having to trim them at all. Unlike other pans with sharp edges, the seam is totally sealed. Which means the corners are a tiny bit rounded, which you can cut or reshaped with icing. This is not a non stick pan, so, I lined the bottom with parchment paper and sprayed the edges with PAM. The best part is the edges which allow me to easily flip over. Actually, the best part is the price. I’ll be buying another one before the price goes up.

One of the better pans in my arsenal of cake supplies. Rates right up there with Magic line and Fat Daddios. would recommend to anyone that asks. Needed it in a hurry as I don't usually do this size so took a chance. So glad I did.

I liked the size and heavy duty of this pan. Not too big and not too small. The instructions said not to use the dishwasher to clean if you wanted the surface to look nice. They were right. After being in the d/w there were splotches all over the surface. I usually put things in the d/w to clean them better so it is a bummer that these react so badly to the d/w soap. They do hold heat and do well in the oven.

Grateful to have found a durable cake pan that actually is made to last!I use parchment paper to protect the pan as well as easy clean up.Far from flimsy.I have purchased pans from William Sonoma, a bit pricey. This cake pan is a great, affordable alternative to the higher end stores!

If you only ever have one pan for baking this should be it. Worth the money. Sturdy and well made. Easy to clean and bakes extremely well. Can use cake pan strips easily for a flatter cake forDecorating because it has sides that are square and tight. Use this at least 2x a week for larger cakes i am decorating and have not been disappointed.

I needed this to make a cake out of chocolate chip cookie bars for my son's birthday. So of course I had to do a test batch. They turned out perfectly. This pan has amazing straight corners and cooks evenly. It is also super easy to clean. I love it and will get lots of use out of it!

I absolutely love this pan!! I have had horrible luck with cakes sticking in larger pans (especially square or rectangular ones) to the extent that I usually buy twice the amount of ingredients that I actually need (because I'm going to have to remake at least one layer, right?). So I was ecstatic when not one but all 6 layers of the cakes I have made for a celebration this weekend, slid right out with absolutely no problems! The edges and corners stay well defined even with a really good greasing and flouring. And unlike a lot of ones I have used before, this one has truly straight sides, so the layers line up perfectly!!!
