About the Actor As a player, as a coach, and as an ambassador for North Americas fastest growing sport, Jeff Tambroni knows a lot about Winning Lacrosse. As Head Coach of Mens Lacrosse at Cornell University, Jeff Tambroni has led his programs return to prominence on the national stage. In his seven years at the helm, his players have earned a combined 30 All-America honors, and Tambroni himself has been recognized with the Field Turf/NCAA distinction of 2007 Lacrosse Coach of the Year. As a further testament to Tambronis gift for getting the most out of his players, his Big Red squad was also named 2007 Team of the Year. Through Winning Lacrosse, Coach Tambroni hopes to further his mission to bring quality instruction and emphasis on fundamentals to a wide audience, an ambition evident in the hundreds of camps and clinics hes conducted for players at all skill levels. A three time All-American himself, Tambroni has devoted his professional life to advancing the game of lacrosse. Well done DVD
Tambroni does a very nice job of explaining the basics of a motion offense uses the 2-3-1 as his example. Both the "chalk-talk" section and the live examples are easy to follow and are well narrated. Since different motions are set in different chapters of the DVD, it's easy to find a specific motion you want to review and watch it. My kids watched sections as well and were able to better understand motion offense before they stepped on the field. Definitely worth a look.

Excellent tool for new and experienced coaches
I am very impressed with the content of the dvd. Segments are very well defined and the structure is easy to navigate through. Concepts are well demonstrated and explained and the visual aids used are top-notch and inspirational. As a coach with 8 years of experience coaching grades 4 through 8, I am taking over the High School Varsity for the first time. This dvd series has helped imensely so far & I can't wait for the series to continue!
