After inital setup worked great
Used this to implement an indoor Christmas decoration I only wanted lit up when it detected movement. For that implementation this was perfect. Now Christmas is over, thinking of other uses for it.

Works well but...
As others have mentioned, the batteries won't stay in place, so every time you put the lid back on the sensor they pop out and the unit stops working. Once I taped them in place all was well, but it's a shame you have to kludge it that way.

VERY limited range
Bought this so I could place a battery powered sensor by garden gate, to trigger a mains floodlight on my garage.The ad claims it has a 30m range - meaning you should be able to place the battery sensor up to 30m from the wall plug.RUBBISH. I tried testing it in line of sight, new batteries, and it stopped working at 5 metres.It did work at that short distance, and was easy to set up.But no use for my situation, and in the end I had to wire up a wired sensor.Also note the sensor in this is battery powered... so range will probably decrease as the battery gets weaker.

Great product
Very good piece of kit, worth the money. Takes a bit of setting up but don't let that put you off.

A bit hit and miss
It definitely works but has a very limited range. If a car parks in between the transmitter and receiver it stops working.I am only talking about 5m away. It needs a clear line of sight.I have repurposed to an indoor application so quite disappointed.

much cheaper to heat a room
Excellent I used this in the toilet (plug outside) to run an fan Hester. Comes on when you enter turns off after leaving, worked out electric cost,on running about20 minutes a day that’s 4pence a day. The towel heater at 399 watt cost. £1.20 a day and now we’re really warm

The on-time is not configurable
There is a 5s-1m-5m-10m switch, but it has no effect. If your application requires a 5 second on-time, great. If you want it to stay on for longer, you're screwed. Can't tell if it's a defect of the product I got, or a defect they have in general.

great little wireless socket
got this for my shed light to come on automatically, was easy to set up, first one didn’t work, but communication with the seller was great and they sent out another one which came next day and that work, so all is good, would recommend this seller and product if you wanted a item to switch on with motion
