I wrote previously that my order never got to me, although it was labeled as "delivered". That lost package has not yet reached, 10 days later. That shipment was through the US Post Office. Go figure....However, Amazon graciously reimbursed me for the article. I saw that it is now available on Amazon Prime, so I ordered it again, and this time, it really got to my home in two days! Yeah!Now, to the article itself:I don't know who measured this ball, or with what tape measure they did it, but the 18 inch size is nowhere on this ball!The diameter is 12 inches, and the circumference is 38 inches. Voila. That is the reason why I gave it 3 stars only. I hate it when sellers mislead the customer. I really wanted a ball that big for the pool. We play volley ball, and we don't want it to be a competition. It is a lot of fun to toss a mega ball over the net in the water, as the huge size makes it very collegial and relaxing.Other than that, it is a pretty ball, and at first sight, looks sturdy, too. For the price, it will provide an entire summer's season of fun in the pool, since there are one dozen in the pack!

One of the 12 balls couldn't hold air :(I cried for weeks and now that I'm over it, here's my review:These beach balls are ball-shaped, easy to inflate, prettily colored and of reasonable quality. Most of them hold air well, which means they're also a hell of a value in beach ball technology.FUN TIP: To use at night, drop a lit glowstick in the ball through the blow-up nozzle or whatever it's called. (They fit!) You'll only be able to do this for a couple of nights until the ball gets too heavy, then you'll have to drop another 66 cents on a new ball. Worth it.

If you're looking for cheap beach balls, these might be right for you. If you're looking for exactly what is pictured and you want them all to be exactly alike, you might want to look at other listings.The "misc." in the title apparently refers to the fact that these balls are miscellaneous sizes, not all the same. They are also not the metallic colors pictured-- mine have pink, yellow, green and blue on them, and they don't really look metallic like the ones pictured.That said, though, they are serving their purpose as inexpensive balls used for simple games in the Activity Department of a nursing home. None of the ones I've inflated so far have had leaks or problems.

It is all a lie and it repeats the lie. Definitely not 18" which I needed and not in the Mardi Gras colors. Measured closer to 12" in diameter. Good enough for cheap little beach balls but not good if you buy it under the assumption that you will get what they describe.

I was hesitant to buy these after some of the reviews said they didn't hold air. We ordered 24 balls and every one held air overnight and throughout the Birthday party party we bought them for. They are so pretty and bright colors. I did notice that the cirecle that connects all the colors at the top and bottom of the ball is not purple as pictured, we got red and green but they were still amazing. I would highly recommend these beach balls. The plastic is a little thing but they still held up to multiple kids playing with them all day! Great buy.

When I opened the bag and saw what I got I was not impressed - looks like very thin and flimsy material. However, they blow up to a standard size beach ball and work well. Color is exactly as pictured. I use them at work having older patients throwing and hitting them to work on there balance. I've been using the first beach ball I inflated over 3 months ago with no problems. The ball has not leaked or needed to be re-inflated. I'm sure there are higher quality beach balls on the market but this is a Excellent buy for the price. I would buy again for kids or a party. Not sure how long it would hold up if my four year old would try to sit and jump on it but as good as other beach balls I have bought at stores.

I am always buying new beach balls for my chair volleyball players at my AL facility. Have not been very successful in finding sturdy ones though. These can withstand a few games even after I repair them with my “high-tech” repair kit, Scotch tape!

Nothing makes a plain pool look more festive then beach balls. I keep at least 8 or more in the pool all summer. I usually use the traditional colors but I like these too. Sometimes the balls last a couple of weeks sometimes they don't. It depends on the activity in the pool. I just love the way the pool looks with beach balls in it.

Bought 2 dozen for a luau pool party. They were all perfect condition and still floating a week later.

Purchased a 12 pack of 18" balls and recieve ONE 13" ball.. My daughter's pool birthday is tomorrow and now what!?

I ordered these for my 8 year old's swimming party. Her favorite color is purple so it was great to find a beach ball that has purple in it. The only thing that is different, si that the photo looks like the balls are more metallic than they are. The gold in the picture is actually YELLOW in reality and all the colors are really bright. I am pleasantly surprised. Bright yellow looks much better than the gold in the photo.

These are fun! But they are not 18 inches! Stop lying you advertisers, it's not nice. And does your mother know you're doing that?These things are 12 (TWELVE) inch diameter plastic metallic beach balls. One busted while we were inflating it, but the other 11 were fine. Throw them all into the pool at once then throw them at each other, or shoot them with soakers, whatever, great fun for the kids and grownups. And they look fabulous. I think I'll buy another dozen next summer.

I gave this 1 star because it is way over priced. I need it for a particular party Im putting together. Unless you NEED the colors too match something dont waste your money.

We had a pool party for my daughter and I used these as favors. I had no issues and they all stayed aired up!
