Love this product. It is difficult to find good potato salad. Grocery stores that have only fair potato at best, and rarely have German style potato salad. The potatoes are also sliced. This means a better taste than "chunky", cub cut potatoes. The potatoes are cooked to the correct firmness, not too soft and not under cooked. Not salty or too much vinger, a good mix of seasonings. This product gives a person easy and fast access to potato salad from the home pantry.

We have been enjoying this product for several years. Love the smokey, vinegary, bacon taste. Precooked it is a quick addition to any meal. I microwave it for 3 minutes, stirring half way through. Any leftovers can be eaten cold straight from the refrigerator (I think this is my favorite.) I have even taken it to potlucks as a cold salad. Always cook it first for the best flavor and texture.

I ordered this about 7 months ago and finally ate a can just to check it out. The sauce part almost reminds me of a sweet & sour sauce. If McDonalds came out with a german potato salad then this would be it. The potatoes inside were fresh and good quality. Nice texture in your mouth but I think a few more potatoes and a bit less sauce would be better. The next one I’m gonna add bacon crumbles from good fried bacon. The old Ruby Tuesdays restaurants had the most amazing german potato salad on their salad bar so that’s the standard I go by. Bigger jars would be nicer for family size. I ate this can by myself and I’m a 6 foot 200 pound male. Why someone can’t can up Ruby Tuesday style german potato salad I don’t know. This brand you might need to tweek a little bit for your own taste. Besides bacon you might research german potato salad recipes and go from there for adding true flavor.

I've had many versions of German Potato Salad. The thought of finding it in a can is a brilliant idea. I was Leary of spending 33.- on 12 cans, but I rolled the dice and got 8 cans that had 3 inch or larger dents or crushed from the top and 1 leaking can. AMAZON never fails to Amaze me at the power to ship dented cans in perfectly fine boxes. Which means they're packing damaged product. I was refunded for the order and enjoyed the 3 cans that ALL had smaller dents. The potatoes are the small canned ones, the bacon is minuscule BB sized or smaller, adding some helps. Remember this is a vinegar based potato salad sweetened and served warm. You either "GET" German Potato Salad or you don't. Three weeks later I've ordered another case I'm hopeful❄It being w/in weeks of 🎄 Seasons Greetings! 😊

Three of the 12 cans are damaged. Per policy, they are not returnable. How do I get them replaced? No recourse?

The best German Potato Salad I've had. I can't find it locally anymore and tried some from the deli. It just didn't have the taste. I decided to see if I could buy it online instead of searching recipes or other stores out of my locality. I was able to get free shipping as I bought other things at the same time. So it was well worth it and I didn't have to spend a lot of time and gas searching. It is good either hot or cold. Love it!

All 12 cans contained a very watery product which were tossed into trash. Not a salad, not even a soup. Nicely sliced small potatoes in a hardly seasoned excessive amount of liquid.

This canned potato salad is delicious. Looking for a good canned potato option, I came across READ German Potato Salad on Amazon. I tried the first can immediately and loved the flavor and texture, as did my husband. I then placed another order to be sure that we had this great potato salad for some time in the future.
