This product worked exactly as I needed it to in my 2014 Honda Pilot. Needed to have my 90 lb younger greyhound sit in the back seat while the 13 yo greyhound could have the very back of the car for himself. I was worried because my dog is so big, but when installed properly it does not move a bit. He was comfortable. I supplemented this with some seat extenders so he could not step off the seat to the floor board. Works great and seems like it will be easy to wash. The "cushion" parts you install are not very cushiony but they do the job. I especially love the bolster piece that goes around the open seat edges to sort of box the dog in.

Just put this in and it’s exactly what I had been hoping for after buying several different products that didn’t seem to keep my dog well contained. I have a 35lbs puggle and am looking for the safest way to transport her in the car along with a car seat with an infant in the back. She fits perfectly in it and enjoys curling up in it. I purchased a separate harness that clicks into the seat belt. The seat cover has slits to feed the seat belt strap into.The cover comes off and I believe I can wash it but it does not appear to be super durable so I think washing it on the machine might cause damage, especially the zippers appear fragile. I plan to put a towel over it a I imagine the white seat will get dirty quickly. I’m giving 4 stars only because I wish the fabric and zippers were more heavy duty to withstand repeat machine washes. Otherwise I highly recommend this product and am so happy with it.

Have a 12 pound, 13 year old little guy that likes soft with a pillow/bolster for his head. Without a bolster, he won't settle in well for a longer car trip. This car seat pad was thoughtfully designed and works really well for our needs. Couple things to consider:--this product provides comfort with seat protection. For safety, add your own dog harness AND seatbelt hook.-The design allows for the cross body seatbelt to be buckled through the openings in the back and locked (by pulling belt all the way out and back in slowly to lock) so that you can attach the seatbelt hook. The bottom lap belt is covered nicely by the base padding so that it doesn't annoy the dog.- I added a grip mat underneath to grip leather seat. (cut a piece of drawer liner gripper to fit)- Only concern is durability for washing. I checked inside seam construction and its a single stitch with no reinforcements or zigzag edging, so I can imagine the seams pulling out over time. So will probably add a light towel or blanket on top so that I can wash that often and extend the life of the bed.- if you have an older or arthritic dog and need more padding on the base, its possible to add more cushion. The cushion it comes with unzips for removal.Overall, happy with this product. Only reason I gave 4 vs 5 stars is concerns about long term durability. But, I'm really happy with the design and that my dog likes it.

We recently moved and had a 17hour drive to relocate. Both of my Golden’s were snug as rug on the back seat the entire trip! Normally one would be on the seat and the other bouncing back and forth from the seat to the floor. However, they both settled in rather quickly and loved the lip rest; it seemed to make them feel more secure on the leather seat.It was very easy to install and didn’t slip/slide. Actually it never moved, not even from the girl’s jumping in and out after the numerous potty breaks.

It’s ok! Soft and does the job but not super secure. It includes a strap on the bottom that would work in some cars but not mine.My dog is over the suggested weight range (he’s 35ish lbs) but likes to curl up and fits it well enough.

Very comfortable seat bed for our dogs! They don't slide around the back leather seats of our truck anymore. Also keeps the back seat open for people to sit or to put groceries. It looks nice, and fits the truck back seat well and matches the color. There is also a little lip they can lay there head and slits so you can use a seat belt lease. Thinking of buying another one for our full size SUV.

This seat cover/ bed seemed like the perfect way to protect my seats and make my dog more comfortable in the car. It seems to do both those things once it is securely installed. Getting to that point was the challenge! The straps around the seats and over the headrests were easy, but the anchors intended to slide between the seat cushion and the seat back were almost impossible to get in place in my SUV. I finally had to let the seat backs come forward to create enough space for the anchors, then return the backs to their upright position. Tip: if you know someone with really long arms it helps. Even with the anchors in place, the cover slid around the seat. I fixed that by connecting the seat belt in the middle of the seat across the front of the cover.

This is slightly bigger than my front passenger seat, which is actually quite ideal since it creates more of a soft bucket for my dog. I have a Ford Focus, with a 30lbs dog. He fits on it perfectly, and it stops him from sliding off on the leather seat. The raised edges keep him steady so he can properly nap on a long drive. When my boyfriend needs to ride in my car, it's also very easy to just keep the headrest string on, and rotate it to the backseat. My dog would seek it out on the backseat so he can rest his head on the sides. I have also take it with me as a dog bed when visiting friends. It's very easy to take apart and clean the covers. 10/10 would recommend.

Perfect for our 23 pound Cavalier King Charles spaniel. I cannot fault this product. Very fast/easy to fit. Well made. Washable. Seems really comfortable for our dog. Note: I noticed another review say that this “slides around”. Well I have leather seats in our car and this definitely doesn’t slide around. There is a piece on the underside of this that is a plastic tube attached to a strap. It acts as an excellent anchor - make sure that you push that tube into the space in the car seat between the seat back and the seat bottom. That really keeps this in place. 10 out of 10.

Since installing this my dog has settled in the front seat straight away. He snuggles down in it and falls asleep. He seems to love the padded edges to rest his head on

Excellent well made product. Our dog travels in our Motorhome on the dual seat and this provides comfort and stability. Please manufacture one measured to suit a Motorhome dual seat. It will need longer straps to hold it in place.

I didn't realize my back seats, even though they do recline all the way down, do not have a space in between the bottom and back seat thus cannot insert the tube piece making it impossible to secure.Also if you have leather seats, the bottom "cushion" is pretty thin so would have had to insert a foam panel to make it more comfy, which I had, but alas would not work.
