Larabar Almond Butter Chocolate Chip, Gluten Free Vegan Bars, 16 ct

Off all the bars in the market this one has one of the best set of ingredients. Particularly interesting the fact that it has 2gr more of protein than other larabars. And taste id pretty good too! They are hard to find in stores or in smaller batches.

Larabar's novel creation of tasty, healthy snacks are made with very few ingredients and rarely sugar. Yet, the taste is remarkable! I sometimes purchase Larabar Coconut Cream Pie in my local grocers and was so happy to find that Amazon carries all of the flavors. Enjoy and treat yourself to an uncluttered habit!

These bars are very healthy & tasty st the same time. They are a bit pricey but worth itHighly recommended them!!

This review is for the Peanut Butter & Jelly version.I prefer GoMacro MacroBar, Organic Vegan Protein Bar, Peanut Butter bars, but I decided to give these a try for a bit of variety, and I'm glad that I did. The combination of peanuts and cherries is pretty tasty - it's not like a dessert, but still pretty good.The texture is also very good - not tough and chewy, but substantial enough to stay together. Kind of like a soft candy bar, IMO.I like these less than the GoMacro bars (these have fewer calories but also about half the protein), but a lot better than the two RXBAR flavors that I've tried (chocolate and peanut). The RXBAR bars are harder to eat, although they do have more protein. RXBAR bars are also not vegan, if that matters to you.These are a good energy bar and a good buy when on sale, but I do recommend the GoMacro bars if you're looking for more protein.

I've been eating Larabars daily for over 10 years, probably more like 15. Years ago after they discontinued my favorite flavor I switched to the Mint Chip Brownie. Beginning last March 2023 I started getting boxes that tasted funny - like there was glue or some chemical added. I tossed them thinking maybe they weren't stored properly or there was a manufacturing problem. Larabar did not respond when I tried contacting them. For the last 6 months I will sometimes get a "good" box - meaning it tastes how it always has, but more often than not I get a "bad" box. To me it is a striking difference, like I have to spit out the bad ones I think they taste so horrible. And they leave a foul aftertaste. I tried purchasing boxes at my local store and have had the same experience. For awhile I tried to buy extra from Amazon when I would get good boxes to see if I could get more of the same batch with the same expiration dates. But I am now more likely to get bad boxes and am giving up.Larabar never responded to multiple inquiries I sent on their online forms. I finally called this last week. Not surprisingly, customer service is now overseas. I had called in the past when they discontinued my favorite bar, and it was someone who actually worked for Larabar. But, Larabar has been sold to General Mills, so I guess that means, goodbye quality product and goodbye getting any answers. Now, the customer service rep I spoke to was kind and I could understand him, but it's not someone who works for Larabar anymore. It is outsourced customer service. So, I couldn't find out what change had happened with the bars. They don't know anything.I will try some of their other flavors, but not having high hopes. Do not expect the same flavor or quality from Larabar anymore. They aren't in charge anymore. General Mills is.

The title says it all: greasy, not organic, tastes good, and although Bobby Approved (an app), the app may not be perfect, as I've seen it approve seed oil that as not supposes to be good.

So delicious. These bars have such a good consistency and I cannot believe they have so few ingredients. The coconut is just strong enough. Yum!
