HUNTERHunter - Collar Softie Alu-Strong 40-55 cm pink

I had been looking for a new collar for our Rough Collie ,I was after a rolled leather one ,but because she had still got a tendency to pull I Chose these ,I thought being Hunter I could not go far wrong,. I was glad at first as the one I was using was hard work with all the fur to get on & off and as she was about to take her Bronze Citizen Teat this was going to be a lot easier. However when the Examiner checked the collar I noticed that he was paying a lotto attention to the clasp. Then when the test was over he told me that the clasp was poor. Then a couple of days after my Husband & I was getting her ready for her walk we noticed that the clasp on the Collar had come undone .Good job I had kept her old collar.So if anyone is thinking of buying these collars my advice is do not buy, as the clasp is not safe at all we could have beenout on a walk .I am very surprised at Hunter who has been making dog products for years using a clasp that is so poor.I have returned mine.

This is our second Hunter collar that our dog has has. The last one lasted a good 3 years and was still functional when we replaced it. It is well made and the quick release buckle is very secure when fastened. We have full faith especially as our Boxer dog pulls like a train.

I always buy Hunter collars for my girl, I’ve got a selection of different colours now. They are strong & last for ever & because my girl works outside everyday at the weekends I put her nylon ones in the washing machine & they come up like new. Brilliant product & they look lovely as well, especially this pink one we’ve got now,. It’s padded so it’s lovely & soft as well & easy to get on & off but don’t think this one will be going in the wash as it’s like nubuck leather so perhaps we’ll keep this one for weekends & best !!

Randomly opens frequently and I often found my dog without her collar on because it just falled off her due to the clasp being loose and opening on its own. (If she shook like dogs do when they're wet the collar would fly off her neck). This had happened a few times on our walks too, So she has a new collar now as it wouldn't be good if she got lost! Very robust material though, just a shame about the clasp :-(

Great robust collar it is my second one of these the first latest around 2 years it is still fine but some of the chrome has chipped of so bought a second, very sturdy and not failed me once. Great to have confidence in a collar especially if your dog pulls a lot like mine

Very well made collar. Bought medium size for Cocker Spaniel and fits perfectly. Adjusted to make it slightly longer. Seems to comfortable with no irritation. Happy with purchase and would recommend.

Wet happy with this. The colour Is fab. It’s really good quality. Dog likes wearing it.Will buy more for sure
