Must admit to being a little disappointed when it arrived. I chose it after seeing the five star rating in the reviews but sadly they are not justified.This espresso maker replaces the Balzano made Carmencita Lavazza stove top that's been in daily use for over thirty years. Unfortunately this model is no longer produced and mine is developing a pin hole fracture signalling the end of its usable life, hence the replacement.Despite the Hunt Brothers current high rating, in back to back testing with a classic Italian original it both doesn't preform as well and is inferior in build quality being made from much thinner material. I doubt this will last even a quarter of the time that the Carmencita has and in using it is evident that the Hunt Brother's model doesn't get the best from the coffee (I like Lavazza's Qualità Rossa) leaving the taste rather thin.Yes, it makes coffee. Yes, it's easy to use but it won't be a life time of use (nowhere near it) and I don't think anybody wasted time in the R&D department before production.Sadly I feel I've wasted my money.

Beautiful design and easy to use. Made espresso really quickly. Unfortunately I burnt the bottom of mine (as it was so quick) but ordered a new one as I liked it so much.

We were looking for a while for a good coffee maker. I am so happy with this purchase! It literally made my day and makes every morning since we bought it :) The coffee is delicious,.

So far so good, seems well made and makes coffee as desired. Just that the shape of the top section is quite difficult to clean so will need to get some kind of brush to reach as a normal dish brush doesn't fit. Apart from that all good.

Nice quality stainless steel pot. Good for 4 small cups. Easy to clean and easy to use, and best of all, it makes a decent cup of coffee.

Perfect, great for camping and at home, only wish it was bigger... definitely recommend!
