Poor quality foam inside, not adequate support.
I'm a frequent flyer on long haul flights and I ordered this one from amazon after seeing 4.5 star ratings. However, on my recent trip to Japan, I found this pillow to be utterly useless as after just a few hours, the inside foam bends, squeezes and becomes very uncomfortable around the neck. I would consider this pillow for perhaps shorter flights, 1 hour domestic. The outside material is great, soft to touch and feels good around the neck; however, the internal form is made from sub-par quality material, and it is obvious the manufacturer went after the optics rather than than using correct materials to provide adequate support.Having used many, I would value this pillow at $5 max, and for domestic short-distance flights.

For new and seasoned travelers
My friend's husband was leaving the country for the first time at the age of 25. A nonstop flight from Texas to Bangalore, India. To say he appreciated this pillow and eye mask kit was an understatement. I'm the traveler in our group so I may buy myself one for my next trip after seeing how much he liked it!

Can't wait to use it on my next flight
I typically don't like memory foam, but this pillow feels good. I purchased this for an upcoming overseas flight so I wouldn't have to use the "pillows" that are provided by the airlines. The pillow is nice and big (without being too big). The added eye mask and ear plugs are a very nice bonus. The best part is that you can secure it on your carry on. I would have expected the pillow to be more expensive than it was. It was priced low enough that I was able to purchase one for everyone traveling with me.

it's a pillow
I wouldn't call it ultra soft, it's memory foam and it doesn't really like to deform to cradle your head, the microfiber cover has split around the neck. the mask is silly and useless but breathes well and the earplugs are your basic shooting earplugs. All in all it's worth $, but worth $$
