Super Cute Crochet: 10 Super Cute Projects for Animal Lovers (Crochet Kits) Paperback – May 14, 2019

I love this! I was worried by some other reviews that the projects would be difficult to follow, but I was able to figure it out in a day! I’m a beginner with crochet, and this book provided all the information I needed!! I will say that you have to really read the stitch instructions and abbreviations and it requires some trial and error to figure out, but once you get the hang of it all the projects become super simple!! Other reviews were correct about there not being quite enough yarn to finish the koala, but I used leftover grey from the penguin and was able to complete it (I would’ve preferred having enough of the correct shade of yarn though)! This was my first time trying Amigurumi and now I’m hooked! 10/10 recommend this for beginners with a little familiarity with crochet

PERFECT FOR BEGINNERS!!!I am just now taking up crocheting and this was the first book I bought to teach me how to do it! The instructions are great and there are such cute designs. You can only make two or three creations from the yarn provided but it is super easy to get similar yarn from your local store.I made this adorable little penguin! I did remove a couple of the steps from the book just because I am a beginner and needed something a little simpler.

I am very happy with this kit. The instructions were easy to follow and I had no trouble making these projects (I did watch a you tube video on the Adjustable ring) I would have given 5 stars but I was short on yarn for my second project, and had to get more yarn to finish. Overall I would highly recommend this kit.Update: one year later and I still use this book for its patterns. I made about 15 penguins at Christmas and some other animals for different people. I updated my review to 5 stars, because of all the use I have got from this book

This was a Christmas gift for my daughter who wanted to learn to crochet. It came with the needles, yarn and fluff. The instruction book is lacking in directions for a beginner on the actual patterns. Uses terms that aren't included in the initial 'how to' side. It was confusing for me as an adult that has a masters degree.

My 13 year old son found this book easy to understand, and has been able to make several different critters. The book doesn't come with a lot of yarn, so he practiced with other yarn before using the "good stuff." The yarn is great quality, and allows for tight stitches. The instructions are clear and helpful. Our only complaint is that the book doesn't stay open and lay flat, so it's hard to reference the book while crocheting.

I love this set. I can make a penguin and koala with this. I gave 5 stars but for the next person, please pay attention to the needle size. The needle that came with the set was so small for the thread. It was a 2 mm needle paired with bigger thread. Unrealistic as heck. But other than that the kit had helped me bond with my boyfriend's grandmother, that's what matters.

I have never approached before but thought that because this product came with an instruction manual that I would be able to Learn crocheting with this kit. Wrong. The manual uses abbreviations and lots of terminology that Only seasoned crochet's will understand. There is also hardly any pictures inside the manual to demonstrate proper technique.I'll keep the product as motivation to develop crocheting skills.My goal is to make these before before becoming an aunt so I can gift the little toys to my new niece/nephew.

The tools provided in this kit are of great quality, that alone makes it a great buy. The only slight drawback is the size of the actual tools, if you have larger hands, it may not work for you.The patterns included are easy for beginners to follow, I just didn’t have the time to sit down and complete them ( but that’s on me ).
