My new favorite
I wanted to try and find a cheaper matcha to replace the stuff I've been using for a while, because the other stuff has become unreasonably expensive and without reason. I did some digging around online to get some ideas as to which matcha brands are the best and Encha was at the top of any list that mentioned it. So I ordered some. This is great tea. I actually do enjoy it more than the tea I was drinking before (DoMatcha), plus it's much cheaper. I also love the jar it comes in. It looks great and feels great, plus, you can reuse it after you're done with your tea. I plan on using the jars to store the spices and herbs I'm growing in my garden.I also had the pleasure of speaking with the owner of this company, and his passion really made me appreciate Encha even more. Really just a super nice guy who cares about his products and his customers. I recommend watching his videos of him at the farm in Japan where he explains the process of making matcha. It says a lot about the quality.A ton of matcha out there is artificially inflated with obviously fake reviews, but Encha and DoMatcha have far more honest reviews. So just save yourself the possible trouble of getting a bad tea and buy Encha. It's great, it's cheap, and it's made with care.

Deliciously Mooth not Bitter or gritty. Love it!!
I LOVE This Matcha. It is not bitter and is very smooth!!! The glass jar is great. Small but will go a long way! I will order again. It's the best quality I've had yet! I opted for thos one over Amazon top seller Kenko. I will try that eventually but I cant imagine it being better than this one. Beautiful and Delicious!!! I add Monk Fruit sweetener and Cashew Milk. Yummmmm!!!

Matcha doing
This product is fantastic. I have purchased about three other kinds/brands and this product definately stands out. The taste of it is so clean and tastes so pure. Some of the products I have purchased beofre was not of good quality. But the color alone fro this product shoes that this product can be amazing. But once you brew it up in the correct way, it tastes fantastic. I highly recommend.

Hands down the best!
So... there are a lot of fake reviews on Amazon, this is not one of them and I will tell you a fantastic joke to prove it.What did the fish say when it ran into a wall?So my coworker ordered some Poverty Matcha and I simply had to one up him. I did a lot of research and found this gem. Ordered a glass jar of the ceremonial and when it arrived I noticed the bamboo lid had been broken. This was clearly a case of an Amazon picker not choosing the correct packaging. I contacted the seller and BOOM! Problem solved no questions asked, new bamboo lid replacement was promptly sent to me. Turns out my suspension was correct, seller asked for correct shipping box, Amazon picker dropped the ball. That said pickers have a hard job so I do not really hold this against them.Flavor and mental reaction after drinking is perfect. Unfortunately for my bank account I will continue to order this product until some other coffee replacement sparks my interest. For all the work that goes into making this stuff I am more than willing to pay the price. Other less expensive matchas do not have the quality of flavor, texture, and mental reaction that this brand has.Look no further, you have found your new favorite.Oh and the fish said "EFFF that hurt!!! What is this big smooth wall I just ran into? It looks like its holding all this water in this reservoir, wow I wonder what it is called, I'll go ask my friends at school"

Meh.... just ... meh
The matcha is .... Meh, that best sums it up. I've tried a lot of different Matcha's from Kenko, midori, and my personal favorite Aiya. If you've had Aiya matcha then you will easily notice a difference. It's hard to say if Encha Ceremonial grad is worth it or not. Best way to look at it is if you are out to buy a brand for quantity and possibly beneficial properties, this might be the best choice for you, if you are looking for taste and quality... Meh, is the best I can say. If you've had your share of matcha in the past then you know how every brand has pro's and con's, but two of the major qualities most consumers prefer is color, and taste. Encha does provide a nice froth, in fact it's probably one of the better matcha's that I was able to froth up with my bamboo whisk, the Encha matcha also has a bit of an astringent after taste to it, now this could be good for someone who like's a strong tea and possibly providing it with more benefits such as the theanine which could be giving it the strong atringent taste (similar to when you brew normal tea and get either a light tasting tea, or you steep for a longer time and get a strong tea) The taste was not for me especially considering I prefer paying a bit extra for ceremonial grade to get that smooth mellow taste. The biggest problem would deff. be the color. Matcha is similar to avocado's in the sense that it oxidizes once it's been opened ( when you cut an avocado after roughly 30 min the flesh turns grey in color due to it oxidizing) the same happens to matcha tea. The container was sealed so there was no puncture for it to oxidize but you can tell the difference once you start whisking the matcha, compared to another brand like midori springs or kenko, there is a slight fading of green to a more greyish green. To sum up it's just meh, if you are looking for a brand that comes in a nice glass container with a wooden screw on/off cap and a decent quantity for the price and what tastes like stronger theanine, then this might be your brand.

The Best Matcha
I have a matcha iced latte every morning and this has been my favorite Matcha every! It’s sweet enough to not need any added sweetness, but still “bitter” like green tea matcha is. Super bright green and high quality, too.

Meh
The tea looks good in the container and smells slightly sweet but is very very bitter once prepared. I've prepared matcha before and lived in Japan so I've tried good quality matcha during traditional tea ceremonies. It's not the worst I've tried, but this is too expensive for the quality of matcha you're getting. I bought this one bc it had good reviews, and since it was from amazon I could get it quickly and wouldn't have to pay expensive shipping like I do when I order from Japan. Not worth it.
