The tiny cakes and pastries in this set really tickled me! I didn't think I would enjoy them as much as I did; they're all super adorable. This kit is well worth the price and is only slightly smaller than my other completed kits of higher value. The instructions were clear enough that I even learned some new techniques!Pros:- Step-by-step manual that shows everything you need to know. I even learned some things (which came in handy for a set that had hardly any instructions at all).- You receive enough extra material to create additional props. I created an entire extra cake as well as many extra bear cookies and a few candy jars!- The holes for hiding the wires is well thought-out and look invisible when viewing the finished set, even when inspecting it close-up.- Comes with a music box! I didn't even realize it would, so that was a neat surprise.Cons:- Some of the props can be difficult to make; ensure you have a pair of tweezers on-hand and don't be afraid to get creative with your solutions if you find yourself getting frustrated! You have plenty of material to create extra props with.- The wires that run along the "Cake Shop" sign are the same length as all the other wires, but has to run twice the distance. They're long enough, but only just barely. Make sure to leave as wire length as you can when setting up the sign!- While there is a hole in the back to stuff your battery box into, it's not something you can permanently glue your box into. The design could be enhanced to allow you to secure the box and still be able to turn it on/off and remove batteries.

I have not made the kit yet, I will update when I do. But I can tell you know that I am super excited everything inside the box is cute and intricate, I personally am not very interested in the light and music, but I will attach them all the same, the only con is that you will need to get glue and I will have to order some craft glue. Overall if you are interested in a full time covid project you must buy!Update. I finished it yesterday night, When I opened the box it came with a bag full of little bags separating paper, beads, fabric, resin pieces, etc. Behind that bag were the dust cover, music box, wood boards cut to size, a paper template, paper card-stock, and your instructions. It started with the frame, adding wallpaper, and adding a "nook", then add the shelf and all the little bits and bobs, then the cake stand, then the nook, then the table.Pros: everything you need is inside ( no trips to the craft store looking for "golden foil") Lights and music work, the resin details were SO cute, and the finished product looked amazing on a shelfCons some of the steps were tedious and a little hard but the instructions were in color so you can figure it out! The dust cover didn't "stick" like they said I didn't put mine on because I didn't want everything to look foggy because of craft glue. It said it gave you glue but no glue it mine, it does say it doesn't include glue in the listing.Overall I think the price is great in my opinion, if I went to the craft store and got way to much of what was included it would probably be around 50$$ us. I think that the end result makes all the semi useless things they have you do worth it!

I bought this kit for myself, for my 65th birthday which was celebrated in Quarantine. It took me about 3 weeks to complete, but, for the first time ever, I didn't rush to get it done. I followed the directions and put everything together IN ORDER. There were some frustrating pieces as they were very small and involved glue. I had a pair of locking tweezers which saved me some problems and gave me the extra hand I needed while gluing. My kit DID NOT COME WITH GLUE. I happened to have some Aleene's Tacky Glue and I used it without issue. It was a lot of fun. Not the easiest thing to do, but perfect for me. Instructions are mainly photos. A magnifier came in handy for me to read them and work on the smallest pieces. It looks beautiful and I got a lot of compliments on the details.

Considering this was the first kit of this kind I have ever built, I felt like it all came together quite nicely. As one of my pictures show, the entire kit fits in a room of my 1/12 scale dollhouse, so this is a much smaller scale (about 1/24 centimeter). It took some experimenting with multiple types of glue to find the best ones to do the job and I also needed to purchase a magnifying glass lamp. The majority of the kit took about 10 days to complete, so I would consider this a good kit for a beginner. I just need to hook up the wiring to the battery box and install the dust cover. Once I get better at assembling these kits 'as is', I will try to "tweak" things a bit more with some personal touches. I enjoyed my time on this one so much that I already purchased a couple more kits from this seller.CONS: There isn't a lot of room for mistakes, so it would be nice if these kits included a little extra of certain materials.

I have bought 3 of these. Love this kit. Great little details. Parts of the chair were missing on one kit- the seller sent the wrong replacement parts when contacted, so I made do without them.

Me tomo 8 días armarlo poniéndome todas las tardes, como consejo les sugiero que en la plantilla pequen el cartón y las telas requeridas para que corten los moldes y no uno por uno como yo. El precio actual es justo, ya que hay otros que son carisimos y en efecto armas cajas, muebles, decora pasteles, colocolas luces. Es un diorama así que solo necesitas paciencia paciencia y usar la lógica para las instrucciones que no son detalladas pero totalmente entendibles. Adicional les sugiero también que armen primero el escenario e integren las luces porque requiere movimiento, tomar en cuenta la parte de la mesa. Saludos.

This is for a birthday present, so from what I can see it looks like it will be fun to make.
