This is a wonderful help to the semi-experienced cook.it has clear illustrated instructions for all the basic techniques and is a pleasure to browse as well. it's not for the very beginner and doesn't have a very wide range of recipes but is still an important staple of my cookery book collection.

A beautiful book. Good for the coffee table and good enough to eat. The photos and descriptions are beautiful.
