A home essential.
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. If you have ever found yourself in hospital or an ambulance you will be familiar with this piece of kit. You will have been asked "for a finger" on which a pulse oxymeter very similar to this would have been put. The easy to read display gives two readings; the bottom number is your pulse rate in beats per minute (commonly referred to as BPM)The top reading is the really important one; it tells you your (or your patient's) blood oxygen saturation. The reading should be in the mid to high 90's. If it falls below this level, take a few nice deep breaths and try again. If you regularly get a reading in the low to mid 90's it's time to call your doctor. If it falls below 90, call an ambulance. This oxymeter is extremely easy to use, gives a very clear reading and is a fairly rugged design. It has a battery level indicator and the 2 AAA batteries are very easy to change. It comes complete with batteries and a lanyard so it can be worn around one's neck. I have spent over a week testing this tool and I can honestly vouch for it as a 5 🌟 item. In these times of Covid 19 pandemic it is a home essential, especially if you have children or elderly relatives living with you. I not only recommend this, I honestly think it's a home essential.

The perfect little life saver
I swear this little item helped me through some scary anxiety and put my mind to rest when seeing that all was actually OK.. i bought when tested positive for covid and wanted to keep an eye on my oxygen and although my phone does somthing simular this is just more accurate in my opinion,no trying to find the sensor or balancing like a phone just put it over your finger for 20seconds and get your results.. its now become a very handy piece off our everyday life with having 5 kids and asthma.. defiantly worth the money and highly recommend

Saved my life
Saved my life, I have covid virus and my oxygen levels dropped so bad when I used this tester the ambulance service were shocked and I was rushed in to hospital, I can’t stress enough please buy this oxygen and heart rate testers, I compared it to what the ambulance service were using and it is 100% accurate, a normal person oxygen is 99 my oxygen levels were 72.

Wouldn’t be without it now
The review form asks to rate accuracy, but as this is the only device I have for measuring SpO2, I have no way of knowing how accurate it is, I can only trust it... and I do. I have been struggling with long Covid for 10 months now and my GP recommended getting an oximeter to monitor my oxygen level, especially as I’ve had some periods of breathlessness which have caused significant distress (which then makes everything worse!) The oximeter provides enormous reassurance that I’m getting sufficient oxygen and my heart rate is good. It’s extremely easy to use and very clear display makes it very easy to read. Really pleased with it!

Ankovo Pulse Oximeter is a good buy
I purchased the Pulse Oximeter from Ankovo as both my wife & I have health issues. As my wife has a heart condition she very often gets breathless so buying the oximeter was a no brainer. It is very easy to use & it doesn't seem to matter about the thickness of your finger as mine are much thicker than the wife's dainty little fingers. The accuracy also seems to be very good as she also wears a fit bit & the information is the same.I would recommend anyone who has health issues ie: breathing/heart to buy one for peace of mind, if it's low then you know can contact the Dr/Ambulance without feeling a fool.

Good enough for emergency use
I haven't been ablee to test this against a medical grade equivalent, but it seems reasonably accurate. It is very easy to use.Certainly it gives readings in the right ball park for "normal", though they can vary a little.I think that this would be OK for spotting significant deviations away from normal if you were unfortunate enough to be ill, but I am not sure it would be accurate to the nearest percent and therefore possibly not accurate enough if you are looking to measure athletic performance. All round, good for the money.

Good for home use.
Took a couple of attempts to get reading correctly, mainly because I didn’t read the instructions. The finger needs to be in the correct position for the gadget to accurately read the blood oxygen level. It takes a few seconds to calibrate then offers a few readings before settling to a more accurate one. My first few were below 90% which suggests a problem, before settling between 96 -98%, a perfectly acceptable reading. Good for home use. The rest of the household have tried it too.

Real eye-opener
It's my second Pulse Oximeter - the first one I bought for my in-laws to prove them that without daily walks their blood oxygen saturation level is very low (of course, the oximeter showed them that I am right!). This one I bought for my husband who works in the office. Hopefully, his O2 measurements will encourage him to exercise, get some fresh air and change his habits. Fast reading, no hustle, clear result, small and easy to use - perfect and might change the way you live. 4 stars instead of 5 due to its design which is rather for younger eyes.
