Not bad at all
The story and plot were super intriguing, but there wasn't a lot of depth to the characters, really. The only one where I felt there was true depth was in the protagonist, Michael Rose. There was a lot of suspense, some juicy sexual tidbits, and legitimate causes for concern. All the makes of a good story, in my opinion. The only BIG problem I had with it was the number of characters. I did manage to keep all the characters straight, but once or twice I had to flip back after thinking, "now who is this guy again?"

Excellent
Well written, rich vocabulary not too idiomatic for a non English speaking native, giving a realistic image of the hiden realities of some financial activities, surprised by the vast experience of Frey, thanks for sharing it with his readers...

Good read.
It is good to have Stephen Frey back to writing finance based "thriller/adventures." I enjoyed the read.

my review
I very much enjoyed Stephen Frey's book. It was about the right length with just enough twist to make it interesting.

Scary how something like this is possible in our world
Scary how something like this is possible in our world. Frey writes in such away that you don't want to stop reading. This is the fourth book of his I've read, I'm a fan now.

Awful read
This is the second novel I have read by this author and it will be the last. Poor sentence construction and a real lack of credible story line and characters put this in the class of a 'third rate read'. I really wish I hadn't wasted my money. I can't even donate it to a charity shop as I bought the digital version.

The Fourth Order
Thought the ending was like The Second Call of Nature very rushed and for me spoilt the book

I think this was the last of Stephen Frey's book I bought
I was really disappointed by this book. Yes, other reader stated that the writer's stories become repetitive, but here even the plots are stale and the persons are bone-dry, no sentiment whatsoever. Gruely executions and tortures in detail, it took me all my stomach to just barely finish this book - to be "rewarded" with a sudden end which leaves open more questions than it answers.
