Godrej Black Henna

This is not pure henna at all, it has sodium sulfate use to make detergents. I just use it and my hair looks awful. My scalp is it really black no matter I did wash it many times. No I guess I just have to wait. This is worse that a real dye with chemicals. Stay away from it.

First of all, "black henna" is NOT HENNA - it is black hair dye, with all the chemicals that come with that. Anything that calls itself "black henna" is not henna. Henna creates a brownish dye or highlights your hair, it does not dye it black.Anyone who gives this product bad reviews because they expected it to be henna simply didn't do their research and bought the wrong product.That said, this is the best hair dye I've ever used. It makes my hair feel nice and silky (not dry and stripped) afterwards and does so without a collection of small bottles and gloves to throw away at the end. There are 5 packets of powder in this box; I have long hair so I usually use them all.I bought this originally at my local Indian market for $2. Check out Indian markets and you might find this cheap, and you can buy samosas at the same time.
