Underlayment tape
Worked well, though I have nothing to compare it to. It was pretty easy to use and it didn't get gunked up like tape seems to like to get. I think it was worth the extra money.

Great wide tape for connecting underlayments
At first I only ordered one of these to try and see, thinking how can this tape be different than the packing tapes you could buy locally. Damn, it is a lot of differences. 1) this tape is super wide and this is indispensable when you connect underlayment. Locally, I could not find anything even close to this wideness. 2) This glue is very interesting. It does stick to Silent blue underlayment exceptionally well, much better than a packing tape when I tried.After 100 sq,ft of install, I decided to order the correct supplies for this job. I was missing more of this tape and more of a right glue (Titebond tongue and groove). These guys shipped it super fast and continued installing 1200 sq ft more.In hindsight, I can see how this tape is worth every penny.

Overpriced, and does not come off the roll! Avoid!!
Could not open a single foot of this without it tearing up!!! Absolute rip off. No different from packaging tape. I went and bought Home Depot packaging tape and finished the entire underlayment with that. Too late to return product. Really angry about this ripoff!

Great with plastic, no so good with cork underlayment. Don't think it was intended to be used with cork.

What the manufacturer recommends
This tape is what they manufacturer recommended for the Silent Blue underlayment. It's very thin and strong, I found it easy to use and felt confident that I was using what the manufacturer recommended for the most consistent install. When I asked the flooring store that I purchased the laminate from what their installers used, they told me standard duct tape. Well it says right on the Silent Blue instructions definitely not to use duct tape as it breaks down over time. Glad I followed the instructions and my instincts on this one. It did not add much to the overall cost of the install and I'm very happy with the silent blue for noise and sound absorption and confident that I have a good working vapor barrier under the floor.

Quality Product
Product works very well with the Silent Blue Underlayment I used under my engineered oak floors. The installer was happy that I had purchased this brand of underlayment as well as the tape that goes with it.
