super sturdy
These second tier arms are really, really well made. The height adjustment is spring loaded. The angle adjustment is the most sturdy design I’ve seen on a keyboard stand, with machines interlocking gear teeth that are held in place by a tension fastener. These arms slot into the rear of the original arms on the monolith stand which makes the mounting very strong.I mounted a very heavy and expensive Alesis Andromeda on the second tier without any hesitation. This is a very sturdy and good-looking stand and I highly recommend it.Bear in mind that the second tier arms obscure the rear of the synth on the first tier. This may be an issue if you have ports on the rear of the first tier synth which could be blocked. You’ll either need to pull the first tier synth forward a little to expose the ports or find a position horizontally where the ports aren’t blocked. 45° TRS jacks and power cables can be useful here.

works great!
Wish it went just another couple inches lower, BUT it works as advertized, and puts my keyboard at any angle I need. Bought with a Quik-Lok stand that is so heavy duty, I love them both.

Could benefit from more secure fixing
Fits well onto M91 and provides option for 2nd keyboard or other equipment. Purchase includes all screws etc needed. Separate purchase of wood/metal can turn support into large music stand (about one meter) which I find ideal for live performances such as theatre). Only downside is that the clamping system allows a little movement if played vigorously.

Usual quality from Quik Lok.
I bought this add on at the same time as purchasing the Monolith stand as I use two keyboards live. Very sturdily built as you'd expect from Quik Lok, and is adjustable for height and angle that you'd want for your second board. Once you've got the set up as you want it, then you could leave the tier attached to the stand, but adding and removing it only takes seconds so easy to dismantle if limited in space for transport.Keyboard is held very securely, have not had any movement from it. Obviously not a huge amount of competition here, but if you have the Monolith stand and are looking to add another tier, then this is just the ticket.

No more Ultimate for me!
Purchased with the M/91 to re-lace an Ultimate Apex stand. These are as good as the stand I purchased with, but the adjuster has worked loose which has needed some tightening. i use these a lot, and regularly take them off the stand for gigging so some loss ending is to be expected. You can play with the angle and get the perfect positioning for the second keyboard, ideal if you switch between sitting down at home to practise, put play standing up.

Made from girders
Proper bit of kit. Tough and heavy. Holds my upper keyboard firm with no wobble or shake. Well worth the extra cost compared to lightweight alternatives.
