Fantastic stuff! *with an updated price caveat*
March 2020 Update: This product has now more than doubled in price. It is sold at another pet supply for three times as much as original under $7 per can. Look - it's a tiny can of compressed air with a pheromone. I am sorely disappointed in the excessive price. I had recommended this product to numerous friends and relatives. We are all going to be using our own ingenuity and buying our own cans of compressed air (a can is still under $7). If we want, we will also purchase a bottle of calming pheromone spray. You lost a lot of customers, Sentry. Take that.________________**Update: My cat is growing amazing manners since this product came into my house. Since first writing this review, I still have only had to actually spray it 5 times. (The can remains half full.) I only have to show her the can to get the wanted response, which is immediate. She's a very smart kitty, but still... her reasoning abilities floor me. During her earlier youth, she totally destroyed the cords to the living room window blinds one day while I was at work. I try so hard to keep the dangling cord tucked away from her view, but that day, she found them anyhow. Fast forward to yesterday: as she sat on the sill, she spotted an errant dangling cord. I was nearby and watched her silently. She raised one paw towards it, but paused before she touched it as if she suddenly remembered something Then she turned to me, meowed once, and hopped off the sill. I'm flabbergasted. Oh, and instead of frantically clawing up my legs when I'm preparing her meals (or mine), she now waits by my side, more patiently. And to those concerned about the pheromone odor, it's more like a not-unpleasant fragrance. I wouldn't want an air freshener of it, but for a brief lingering fragrance, it's quite acceptable. Still applauding this remarkable product!Amazing product!! I wish I had thought about compressed air decades ago with my first kitten. This would have been the perfect solution to the stubborn behavior of all my cats. My current youngster is super smart and strong willed, and this stuff gets her attention like nothing else I've tried. I had bought an inexpensive bicycle horn, which has helped a bit, but she always returns to the scene of her crimes (chewing on cell phone charging cords, climbing my legs when I'm in the kitchen...) The pheromone odor keeps the memory of the sound alive in her memory, it seems. I've had to spray it only 5 times in the past month since receiving this tiny can; usually, IF necessary to use it, I only need show her the can and she darts away. I'm training her to perform certain actions on command. As of today, she's mastered how to sit on command. She sits a lot more now rather than choose to climb up my legs. Thank you for this fantastic product! Genius!

The "Nuclear Option"
The product is great. It works as intended. Cats are fairly gently reprimanded for out of line behavior. It has a loud hissing noise which is the first part of training a cat. It gets their attention and causes a break in the "bad" behavior. Then within a few seconds to half a minute, the cloud of pheromones begins to take effect. It seems to be like an emotional blanket for the cat- causing a moment of calm. The product is expensive but it's slightly more humane than squirting with water. I call the Stop Spray the "Nuclear Option" because it's really almost excessive. I use it only when our young super athletic cat accidentally crosses over from play to "the crazies". Basically, once I'm bleeding and she still won't stop. It took 2 cans to lay down the rules and now we keep one can in the bedroom and one in the living room as a deterrent. I just have to show her the can and she rethinks her attack. Usually. Sometimes. The problem for me is that I have a hard time reconciling the morality of using this and pet rights. It's very easy to get carried away with training and disciplining our paw pals. It's typical to go from stopping dangerous behavior to ending actions that annoy us. The thing is cats don't always reason their actions out. They are acting on their impulses to satisfy their basic needs and they can't express them to us verbally. It may seem like attacking your feet is bad behavior but it's actually a cry for attention and more play/exercise. Scratching furniture is 50% need to keep their claws from painfully growing into their paw pads and 50% attempt to get you to stop Facebooking and pet them. Try exploring their needs and offering them attention and interesting environments. They just want to be part of the pack you lead. Abusing sprays and threatening them with objects can permanently stunt them emotionally and cause an irreparable divide between the two of you. By all means use it to stop them from attacking you in your sleep. Just don't rely on it for your communication needs with your fur baby.

Total GARBAGE
If I could give this 0 stars I would. The product is completely ineffective, only provided ONE spray of product and no longer sprayed. I tried to resolve with both the seller and with Amazon, and both were helpless. With the price of the item, I definitely expected more than ONE sprays worth of ineffective product. I am highly disappointed with the product, seller, and Amazon on this one. Buyer definitely beware because if you end up with a faulty item, you're just beat for your money.

This worked
This worked on my cat, but I was surprised at how small the canister is for the price. I probably won’t be ordering again because of that.
