Sans Sucre Mousse Mix Gluten Free, Mocha Cappuccino

I absolutely love this mousse mix. It is sugar free, relatively low in carbs and tastes great. There is a slight aftertaste probably due to the artificial sweetener used, but it is not so overpowering that it really has a significant impact to taste. The serving size is a bit on the small size, you can increase your portion, but if you are watching your carb intake, it is probably not wise. I have tried several of the flavors, mocha, chocolate, strawberry, chocolate cheesecake and they have all been very good. This is so easy to make and tasty that even my kids can whip a pack and love it. I would highly recommend.

This is a delightful dessert for persons looking for an easy to make, low-calorie, low salt option, but be warned it does have a significant saturated fat level (2.5g/serving). The small serving size is also misleading, as the finished dessert is only two cups, which makes four decent sized servings instead of the package's stated eight. The chocolate taste is a little heavy, but I usually make it with and equal set of Strawberry Mousse mix placed in layers for a fun dessert.

I am one of those people who love sweets and a meal isn't finished until you enjoy a sweet finish. I am also one of those people who, maybe because I love sweets, have to watch what I eat. This Mousse mix provides a feeling of fullness and is a satisfying sweet to finish a meal or even for an in between meat treat. I have only used the chocolate Mocha mix and I really loved that. In fact I ordered some Libbey 6 1/2 ounce glass covered containers to be able to stock up in the frig so these will always be on hand.

I love this mousse and have been using it for years. I am a person that can't leave well enough alone when it comes to directions or recipes. For instance I feel that if you make this according to their directions you get sort of a pudding consistency rather than mousse. I use about half of the milk, making it very thick, then I FOLD in some Cool Whip OR stiffly whipped whipping cream. You get the sugar with the Cool Whip, but not much. With the whipping cream you get the fat but no sugar and no carbs. I sweeten it lightly with some Splenda. Now if you really want to add some luciousness, cut the milk by about a 1/4 C. and add 1/4 C. Coffee Liqueur when you are mixing it all up. You can adjust to your own taste, but remember it is liquid, so subtract the milk for how much liqueur you add. Beat like crazy! Then FOLD in the cream. Once the mouse is done to your favored consistency, set aside. Take some Nabisco or any other chocolate wafers and into an 8X10 or 8X8 baking dish add one layer of the wafers and then scoop some of the mousse on top of that and smooth. Repeat until you end with at the top with mousse. Cover and refig for several hours (6-or how ever many you can stand, longeer the better) and then cut into pieces. Oh Man is this good! This is delicious! I have been on a low carb diet for a little over a month and have tried unsuccessfully to find something for my sweet tooth that actually tasted good. This is that product! I will be trying out some of the other flavors. Thanks Sans Sucre for a great product!

My husband and I both find this dessert from EDIETS to be the absolute best. I have purchased this item several times and try to keep a box on hand at all times for a quick dessert. The 'sugar free sweetner' after taste is very very low. It is our favorite of all the EDIET Mousse products. The texture is also the best of all the desserts we have tried from EDIETS. It is smooth but has more body than some of the other items. It is the closest to a 'real' mousse. If you like chocolate and coffee together give it a try.

I don't ever buy anything with artificial sugar substitutes, and now I know why.... I wish they used stevia. The flavor of sucralose is so gross, I can't even finish eating this. The consistency and smoothness and flavor underneath the chemicals is amazing though, so if you like sucralose, this should be good for you still.
