I bought these for the steps to my outside patio. I am very satisfied with these because they are solar and look very nice. The only issue I have encountered is the fact that they are very light and blow over in the wind if you have them sitting on the ground not attached to anything. The nice thing is that the top opens up so you can put weights in the bottom of them so they do not fly away. Once I put weights in these, they fit my needs exactly. The light also conforms to shapes in the shadow so that is a cool effect.

So I bought 8 of these lights to light line my walkway. They are not super bright but leave a pretty reflection on the ground and they do light the path. One of the 8 didn't work as they are a 2 pack you can't return one. I contacted the company who got back to me right a away and suggested I change the battery. And they offered 50% refund on the product. Well the batteries were $20 for a 4 pack but I bought them anyway and took the inside lid off to change it. I found a couple of helpful things. First of all the imprint on the inside for the battery position was backwards but I had already removed the original battery so didn't know if that was the issue. put in a new battery it lit right up and I thought I was done. As soon as I put it back together the light went out again, Poked around a little more and realized the battery doesn't stay in place. So a small piece of duct tape later we are back in business. They are pretty, and the customer service was good. It was worth the extra steps to make the last one work. Enjoy!

Got these lanterns for my boyfriends mom for Christmas. Banana for scale. She really liked them and they look great outside her house. Note that there is a switch/button that must be turned on near the top of the lantern in order for the lantern to light up. We were a bit confused at first. Hopefully this saves you time.

After days of charging (and making sure they button is "on" multiple times), these lights are super weak (if they decide to work that evening at all). I will be attempting to replace the batteries (why I have to do that on a brand new product is beyond me). Extremely disappointed - I completely wasted my money.

I bought these along with a couple others found on Amazon. The two others worked, but even after charging as instructed these didn't light as designed. I got one to light briefly at full luminosity but then it shut off 5 seconds later. It would only light again if I hit it. Even then it would auto turn off after a few seconds. Junk.

These lights were terrible! The lights was never bright- even after being in full sun for nearly ten hours. Both lights frequently would turn off- either with a gust of wind or on their own; they would have to be shaken or lightly tapped to be turned back on.Thankfully, I was able to use the lanterns chassis and simply remove the solar lights that were originally included. I replaced them with comparable lights from Target solar pathway lights; they weren't the correct size but I was able to make them fit with some plumber's o-rings.I'm too lazy to return these---don't make the same mistake!

These solar lanterns are so pretty and so nice! They have a big handle so you can hang them from a hook or just set them on a table. They are a very pretty oil rubbed bronze color. When the light is on they are so pretty with the cutout shadows on the surfaces around them. Definitely worth the asking price!

I have many solar lamps and garden lights but this is a very disappointing product. The amount of light is a pinpoint. As I hang them on the veranda, there is no pattern showing - that is only so if they rest on the ground. I will have to put candles in them as the solar panel lifts off.Not recommended
