good product, picture not correct
ok this product is awesome should have bought it years ago. but you get only 4 stars because this picture is not correct. i wanted a black cable just like the pic. you will receive your cable coated with clear plastic. so its basically silver, not a big deal just with the pic was right

Great Product
This is the second of these I have bought. The first went with my old boat when I sold it. It took me awhile to find the company again but I am sure glad I did, because the only other one I could find that came close to this product was selling for over $90. It installed in no time and now I have the piece of mind that I won't get caught somewhere in a tournament with a broken trolling motor rope,

broke after two trips
I purchased this item to keep from having to replace ropes once a year. The cable end came apart after just two fishing trips...back to rope

NOT Compatible with Motorguide.
after hours of messing around with this i realzed that it just wont work on any motorguide system.. I have 3 different motor guide trolling motors and this would not work on any of them.I ended up using some simple crab trap lin for a $2 fix.
