Cans arrived with dents

Dented cans.
Like others have written, my order had all dented cans. If the dent is at the seam the contents should be considered unsafe to consume. As the label covers the seam there's no way to know until the can is opened. I requested and received a refund. I believe these "2nd's" explain the lower cost of these canned tomatoes, which normally would not be on a market shelf. I'd rather spend more for something that I feel safe eating.

My Standard Pasta Sauce Tomatoes
They are excellent and great for making Italian style pasta sauces. Not quite the same as true D.O.P. San Marzano pomodoroes. Worth the price! I use them often, as they are much more affordable than the DOPs. They are close enough to be a great substitute.

Not Aged or fermented..
I was hoping for the tomatoes from Italy grown in the volcanic ash however these tomatoes were grown in California..
