The Whirlpool air purifier works well. Mine is located in a space sharing the family room and kitchen areas. It does remove odors from dogs, cooking, smoke, etc. It is completely quiet on the Low setting - though the Low setting takes a lot longer to remove odors; you can definitely hear it on the Medium and High settings. Even with those noise levels, I'm very pleased with the unit. I've had it less than 2 months, so can't speak about how long the filters last. It is nice looking. I have not noticed any reduction of dust in the room.

I had the previous generation of this filter. Have 3 in my home. All 3 are still running well after 10 years. Got the new model and it seems to be working well. We'll have to see if it lasts as long as the older model.

The smog is terrible where I live. plus I have a husky and am becoming allergic. My asthma has been really bothering me. I have it near me and blow the filtered air toward me. It's great. My only complaint is that on medium it's fairly loud. On low it doesn't push much air well enough. And high I haven't used. 1. because of the noise and 2. because I don't feel I need it since it's near where I sit. Over all I'm very happy. I've gotten used to the sound. Totally worth the money. I'd buy it again

Super quiet and nice new design! I have another Whispure air cleaner, but it is the older model. We needed an additional air cleaner due to wildfire smoke. I like this new model better than the old one plus it is quieter than the old one. Not that the old model was loud, but they made this updated model even quieter. It does the job of clearing allergens out of the room. Did a decent job with the wildfire smoke too. There are two sizes, I bought the large one. It is a nice size.

I've had terrible allergies my entire life, especially to animals, even with allergy shots. I've used other air purifiers in the past that didn't help much. I bought my first unit of this air purifier December of 2020 when we got our first puppy - it worked great to both keep down my allergies and remove any "dog" odor from the living room area where we keep his kennel and dog bed. I bought the second unit when I needed to stay with my mother-in-law for a while to help care for her and she has a cat. I took my original unit for her living room then put the new unit in the bedroom where I slept and worked - the day after we set it up in her living room (before we brought her home from rehab), we walked in and couldn't smell the cat (huge improvement). I was able to stay there that week with barely any allergy problems, which is huge for me. I left it there for her when I was able to return home because it helped so much to eliminate the cat odor... I decided they help so much, I bought a 3rd unit for my bedroom to help me through pollen/grass/weed season and to help me sleep better. Highly recommend. You can buy replacement outer filters and inner filters on Amazon too.

We originally bought this purifier for the obvious benefits it provides with trapping airborne contaminants. We only use it at night time while sleeping. Initially, I couldn’t speak more highly of this product. We would set it on the medium speed which provided the perfect level of white noise. We also experienced a noticeable drop in congestion and overall sleep quality with it running.Alas, after about 8 months of use, the purifier randomly started making a horrible shaking/vibration/rattling noise while on medium speed. It is easily twice as loud as it was before and it’s incredibly annoying. We’ve tried tightening the screws on the purifier body and changing out the pre filter and hepa filter with the whirlpool OEM replacement filters without any luck. I suspect there is something loose or unbalanced on the fan assembly. I would contact the company since it’s within the year warranty, but they would likely tell me either A) it isn’t covered under the limited warranty B) ship it to us for $100 to see if we can fix it or C) it’s functioning just fine and a little noise is normal.We’ve begun using the night mode which is whisper quiet with next to no sound at all. Although the perfect level of white noise is gone, there is as least some air purification happening which is the reason for this machine’s existence.Overall, I think it’s certainly worth the purchase. Just wish it would have had a bit better longevity and build quality.
