This stuff lubricates well over a wide range of temperatures and harsh conditions in addition to being doped with moly.

High Temperature Lubricant
My convection oven, a Thermador Pro model, vents to the outside through metal ducting. A butterfly valve keeps airflow monodirectional and a vane detector interlocks the system if the vent is blocked. My valve was sticking frequently, so I needed some high-temperature lubricant which would withstand 500+ deg F. for the hinge pin. Krytox is spec'd as good to 900 F, and while a little pricy, you get what you pay for. I applied it, and after a week, it's working. So far, so good. It's like Global Warming, you can't tell if it's right until you have a mess on your hands, so maybe you want to try something to fix it up.
