SmartshakeSLIM, 17 oz Shaker Cup, Neon Pink (Packaging May Vary)

I've been using this for years, this is my second one. I got a replacement because some [mildew?] wasn't coming out of some of the harder to reach crevices in the lid where it screws on to the cup. So the drink will never touch that area when in use but still... it was time for a new one. It mixes up protein powder really well, I've tried all types in this thing. I've mixed other types of powdered drinks in here too and always a good result. I use this as my measuring cup for a lot of things too, lol.Just make sure when you shake it you have your finger in the little divot in the top to press it down and keep it secure. In all my years of owning it, I only had one incident where I catastrophically spilled some liquid while shaking it, and that's because it was early in the am and I didn't press the top part in to the hole securely enough. All in all, good shaker. Had to hunt this listing down as the original listing from when I brought it years ago is nowhere to be found. I don't want to try another shaker when it's time for a new one as I don't like the ones with the metal ball. This one just works which means I'd better take >better< care of it.

It's called SLIM! It says 17oz! What are people complaining about!? Are they in such a hurry they they can't read the description? This is perfect for my bulletproof coffee (cold). Fits in my lunch cooler easily. Much quieter and preferable to any shaker ball mixer. I suggest getting the black if you think the shape/size is too slender looking. If you want BIG, keep looking (reading)

Bought them to mix protein powder into milk hoping the "mixer" worked better than the little spring or plastic balls most use, and it does.In fact, it works a LOT better. I had switched to using a blender due to how badly the mixer balls worked in the several different cups I've bought. But this bottle leaves absolutely no gritty texture whatsoever.(protein powder, oddly enough, doesn't like to mix with liquids, including milk and needs quite aggressive mixing to get really smooth)All of the parts are pretty solid, especially the top. But the threads that hold the little cup onto the bottom are tiny, and don't go all the way around. Also,the bottom cup is slightly flexible at the top where the threads are. It's currently holding pretty good, but there's not much there to compensate for any amount of normal wear and tear.I'll post an update if the bottom threads deteriorate with use, but overall I'm almost jump and and down happy with them. I've been washing a blender 2-3 times a day(plus the travel cup) for well over a month. Pretty well over it. These are much better.

3 stars for durability. 5 stars for functionality. I had the larger SmartShake and like many others, the top ripped; for me, it took about 2 years of fairly regular use before it ripped. I didn't need the large shaker, so I was hoping this newer model would have a sturdier closure system. Unfortunately it does not, so I'm expecting about the same lifetime out of this bottle. Still worth it, in my opinion - see below.For the functionality, I was between this shaker and another that dropped your powder in with a button. The two reasons I decided on this shaker are: 1. there's nothing loose rattling in the bottle after you've finished drinking, and mainly 2. I don't think I've seen a review about one of the best features of the strainer/mixer which is that it keeps ice out. I have a blender bottle (which mixes just as well), but I never use it because of the rattling, and mainly because I put a bunch of ice in my drinks, and towards the end, the ice cubes are able to fit through the mouth hole making it annoying to drink/chug my drinks. Because this uses a strainer, I never have that problem, and that convenience makes it worth the extra cost and potentially shorter life to me.

I have bought several of these shaker cups. I personally prefer the strainer lid to the shaker ball cups as I feel it does a better job of mixing, and it helps strain out big clumps as you drink. I love the storage compartment and interchangeability of this cup. They really have thought of everything! While the regular cup (not the slim version) is very innovative with its storage abilities, I find it too big to fit comfortably in my small hands and is useless in any cup holder. This slim version is my go to. If I had to find a complaint, which it is hard to do with these cups, is that it needs to be washed quickly after use, or at least rinsed, as it tends to stink pretty bad if left to sit all day with any kind of protein or powder based beverage in it previously. But that’s more the beverages fault than the cup. I take it apart to wash and wash all pieces on the top rack without any issues. Like I said, I have bought several and love them all. I have even converted my boyfriend to the bigger version of this cup as opposed to his blender bottle with the shaker ball.

Good quality build, it’s just really small and with trying to shake a 8-10 oz of fluid plus a scoop protein. It felt like there wasn’t enough room to get a good shake or mix. Unless your doing very small amount of fluid if small scoops, upgrade to the larger size. Perfect for pre-workout bad for protein. Making the protein became a workout in its self.

Still my favorite use to order them from another website, but they didn’t show or didn’t have that colour.Only down side if that if you are using any kind of milk I suggest ringing the shaker as soon as you are done drinking. If you are on the go and don’t have access to water to clean it I suggest not using this one as the smell stay

Really great cup! It’s leakproof and easy to clean and use, I bought three of them in different colours!! They’re great! Very handy that they have the extra compartment on the bottom so you can bring shake power with you or even a snack, super handy!
