PS5 to 1080p projector and 4K HDR TV works flawlessly
Previously used a 2×1 1080p splitter by OREI to split signal from PS4 to TV and projector. With the release of the PS5, I needed to upgrade to a 4K HDR splitter for the TV. After purchasing the OREI 1×4 4K UHD splitter, it had to many issues for me to justify keeping it and did not support HDR as the seller stated it did. It was very finicky and the downscaling was hit or miss. Within seconds of plugging the gofanco splitter in, my PS5 appeared on both my TV and projector. Video settings showed 2160p along with HDR enabled. TV is 4K HDR whereas projector is only 1080p. No issues in splitting image and no issues with downscaling. Night and day comparison between these 2 brands. The ease of setup is enough alone to purchase this product. Would 100% recommend. Very satisfied.

Prophecy 4K-HDR 1x2 Splitter Lite sends no signal after a week and a half of use
I purchased this splitter (PRO-HDRsplit2P-LT) for my Xbox one x. I'm using it to split the signal to my TV (TCL 55s405) and my a/v receiver (Yamaha rx-v377), because neither can passthrough video and audio well enough for the other. I expected to get 4k x 2k @60hz for the TV and 5.1ch uncompressed pcm for the receiver. I plugged 3 brand new hdmi cables in to the splitter plugged power in, and it all worked perfectly. After about a week and a half however the TV is now saying there is no signal on the hdmi, and the same with audio. My first thought was to replace the 3 hdmi cables and I did, still got nothing, so I unplugged hdmi cables from splitter and tested them directly from the Xbox and the TV/receiver and they all worked fine without the splitter. I also checked both my receiver and TV with other devices and they were functional without the splitter so I then started messing with the EDID switches to see if maybe that would solve the problem but it the TV still says no signal. Both EDID switches were previously off as it worked fine that way. All hdmi cables are in good condition and the splitter itself is just as it came in the box.

Old Receiver, 4k HDR tv? Thank you, Thank you!!
This does exactly what I needed it to do. Provides an edid to my nvidia shield that allows 4k HDR to my tv and DD TrueHD/DTS HD to my HDCP 1.4 receiver.Almost purchased an item for 3x the price, but so far I'm glad I didn't. Even more so glad that I didn't replace my receiver that supports everything but atmos, but only 1080P.One Note: ->>>> You may have to upgrade the firmware, which takes just a moment and the download is on their site. For my use case, both dip switches up worked perfect after the update.

Design Flaw
If this splitter is powered up all the time, turn either or both TVs on, and you have nothing. Cycle the splitter power, and all is normal. If you turn the power to this splitter off when not in use, you'll likely be OK. It's apparently not meant to be left on all the time. I'm returning it.

This item needs to be powered to work but no power supply included
Mine would not work without powering with 5V supply. A micro USB cable is included but no power supply. It should be made clear that one needs a power supply or, better yet, indlude it with the product. It would add very little to the price.

Works great except when you need to restart it to get any picture at all. :/
UPDATE: the company reached out and replaced the product with a new one and now everything is working perfect! This is an amazing product I use for my 4K tv and full HD home theatre projector. I like to have all my media and audio setup for 1 output which this then splits to both. Then all I have to do is turn in either my projector or tv and know everything is ready to go. The projector gets a downsampled 4K signal from devices thanks to this device so all movies and games look way better than native 1080.The reason I gave 3 stars is because occasionally I turn on my devices to find no signal at all and have to restart this box in order to get a picture at all. Mine might just be defective but who knows.

Audio drops when split to av receiver
AV receiver is hdmi 2.0 and tis is HDMI 2.1. when audio is split it drops at receiver but picture at tv is good. I spoke to tech support, but there was no solution, even though it should work according to the description. All ultra 4k certified cables and with testing direc hookups to devices audio is good at receiver and picture at tv. I wish it worked, bit a no go for an Onkyo txnr1030 with a lg cx oled

Multiple sources and destinations changing states can be problematic.
Works great if you have one steady video source. Unfortunately, if you switch video sources, or turn off the destination sometimes the device gets into a "glitched state" where you have to hard reset it by unplugging it and plugging it back in. Not feasible if you have the device mounted on the ceiling like we do. Got around it by installing a smart relay, but still annoying. Good video quality and no other problems, as long as the source / destination stay steady.
