It was an interesting experience to imagine how the gravity works in a spaceship orbiting around the earth.

Beautiful illustrations. Excellent research. A fun-to-read science book in disguise! I purchased this whole series for my grandson. I think they are entertaining now, but will continue to fill him with wonder as he matures because he will grow into the science. I think this is just the right mix of fantasy and reality.

Love this book. It's a great story and has tons of accurate information about space travel that is great for the adult reading to a kid and great for the kid to learn more and spark curiously.

Bought for my 2nd grade, 8 yr old grandson...too wordy, small print and large words. Thought reviews suggested it age appropriate, but I guess he can grow into it...better for 10+

Great series for the young child (and the adult will learn things too).

I bought this as a gift for a 7-yr-old who is interested in becoming an astronaut. He loves the book! Using a dog as the main character makes the scientific info more accessible for a younger reader. Fabulous illustrations.

Read a previous review about the small and large print. It is that way for a reason. The small print is for greater detail. Actual facts versus a story. The book can be enjoyed by all. A simple storybook for younger kids and accurate information for the more curious minds. My students love both aspects of this book.
