We have used many brands of hoof knives over the years. We have up to thirteen horses to keep trimmed. Tried these due to there ratings and you can purchase a left and right hand version. We use a high speed buffing wheel with polishing rouge to sharpen our knives. Tried these after sharpening and they worked excellent on hard dried hoof soles. Did a nice job on sole and frog and was able to trim hoof wall as well. Would recommend these over several other more expensive brands.
