Perfect protection for mason jar solar lanterns!
A few years ago I made mason jar solar lanterns. Despite the seller's claims, the solar lids/rings are not weatherproof. After a few rainstorms outside, many of the jars had water inside and I knew that rust would soon claim the wiring in the solar panel or lights. They went into the greenhouse so they would be out of the rain. This year, I started looking for some kind of lid to cover the solar panel on top of the jar, and also cover the ring. These stretch lids work perfectly! The lanterns are made with regular mouth mason jars, the covers fit over the top and cover the outside of the ring. Water can't get inside. The lids are very clear, so the solar panels get charged during the day. Not sure how well silicone will last outdoors, but at least there can be a little light in the garden through the winter.

Obnoxiously Thin!
I was so excited to receive these covers. I recently started making yogurt and had saved the Oui jars from Yoplait. I had high hopes that these would work perfectly instead of using foil to cover. I was so disappointed when the first two ripped right away. I could not imagine them fitting the wide mouth mason. They are soooo thin. However, the ones I managed to get on without ripping were perfect. If only they were thicker and more durable. All the rave reviews must have received a different version.

Easy to use
I am not easy to please and do not rave about many items that I use or buy but I will rave about the silicone lids that fit regular and wide mouth mason jars. They are easy to use and fit both size jars. Easy to put them on and to take them off. Once on they stay and I do not have to worry about liquid leaking out and when I take them off I do not have to worry about spilling whenever is in the jar because the lid comes off with ease. They wash nicely and are easy to store. I will most certainly be buying more.

If you're an amateur mycologist and thinking of using these in lieu of foil-NOPE
I like these and will use them lots of different ways...just not for pressure cooking jars of rye spawn. Some actually held on (narrow mouth metal band-yes, any other size lid or material. Nope. I ripped two of them right out of the box while testing them. Just pulled the tabs right off. Will these cover a bell/Mason widemouth? Sure, but without the lid. Lid on? That's a 'stretch'... And if you mandhandle them you'll pull off their poor little wings. I'll probably use these for a quicker option to throw substitute in the fridge or maybe drink links. But looks like I'm using the infernal fool dunce hats next time I make mushrooms.

Fits 8oz and regular mouth mason jars
I make yogurt in 8oz jars. I hate the metal lids as they usually rust. I have purchased plastic lids in the past which work great but wanted to try these as my mason jar and lid situation is out of control (I use them for everything). I have a few of these silicone lids from IKEA and love them but they’re sold in an assortment of sizes. I would have to buy a bunch to get the 12 small lids I needed. These lids come in a pack of 10, are thicker than the IKEA lids and have these great tabs that make putting on and taking off super easy. I like that when used on the 8oz jars, there’s a 1/2” lip that goes down the mouth of the jar opening to keep it securely on. I also tried it on the regular mouth jar and it also fit well. I don’t think it would fit on the wide-mouth. These lids are easy to store, takes up less space than hard plastic lids and easy to wash. I love them. Would definitely buy again.

Love this product
Oh I couldn't wait to use this product. I wanted lids for mason jars that wouldn't take up a lot of space or be lots of rigid plastic. I have metal rings, but they get rusty over time. These arrived the other day and I have it in use with my homemade almond milk and smoothie to take to work. Easy to clean and takes up so little space to store when not in use. I can even tip the smoothie cup on it side and it didn't leak!

thinner silicone then I was looking for
I have another set from a different manufacturer (purchased at the fair), and I use them all the time. I wanted more of the smaller size, so I ordered these. The silicone is thinner than my other set, and I am concerned they will rip. I sent them back.

Amazing
I was very skeptical about these but boy was I wrong. I store leftovers and many other things in mason type glass jars and these lids are perfect. I would not use them for canning....would stick with the traditional lids and rings. But for everyday use they are fantastic.

Perfect for re-using Gu dessert jars
We have dozens of glass jars left over from Gu desserts and I've been looking at ways of re-using them. I recently found a yummy melting-middle chocolate dessert recipe that can be frozen. The only thing I was missing was a way of covering the jars that wasn't single use plastic or foil. These silicone lids are a perfect fit for my jars. We also use these jars for dips and olives and the lids will be great for keeping any leftovers fresh in the fridge. I think they're going to be very useful :)

Great product!
I use a tall 750ml Kilner jar to transport my breakfast to work. Due to daily washing the lids were rusting and I didn't really want to use a rusty lid with my food. I searched for replacement lids and came across these silicone stretch lids which I thought may do the job.I have only used them a couple of times but they do exactly what they say they will do. They stretch well and grip so there are no leaks. I have put one in the dishwasher and it's come out fine but you can wash by hand as well. They will probably last me a good long time as there are 10 in the box.A good price with great delivery.

Much better than cling film.
Excellent value. They work. I use them to cover drinking glasses or jam jars when making kefir. As the kefir ferments the lids expand. Just what I wanted.I use larger sizes for larger containers. Re usable again and again and as long as I keep using them, eventually eco friendly.

Just what I needed
I wanted these to cover glass ramekin dishes and Gu pot containers to make my own frozen desserts. They're easy to use & fit very well and I'm happy with my purchase. Just make sure the containers are dry or they will ping off.

Love these lids!
So much better than cling film and fits the 3 sizes of tins I regularly use... the small 150-200g tin as well as the fatter 340g tins of sweetcorn that are more squat then the regular tins of baked beans, soup etc. Also fits a jar of pickle where the screw lid had gone rusty!
