Korney Board Aids KBA Coaches Magnetic Playmaker Plus Clipboard - Basketball

I bought this magnetic board a few years back now-- still the best board i have ever used. handy to have both full court and half court to diagram on. size is large enough to fully show room for both teams players. I did upgrade to earth magnets that grab a bit better, but that is just my preference since they show more 3D than the flat magnets that come with it, but dry erase lines still in good shape and does not scratch as easily as the plastic board that are more common. Well worth the extra money. Would Buy again if ever needing another one.

The picture was hard to see, but overall I like the magnetic board and pieces, but there is no where to hold the small pieces and eraser, they should have extra magnetic pieces, cuz guarentee you are going to lose some pieces.

I've been coaching High School Girls Basketball for 28 years and this is the only coaches board I'll use. The size is perfect, it's large enough to be easily seen by the entire team and small enough to fit into my coaches bag. The metal board is much better than boards made out of plastic or wood. I've seen many of those get scratched and broken. The only down size is that it is heavier than the wood or plastic, but the positive is that it is much more durable. Being metal the dry erase marks come off much more easier, no shadow marks left behind like with the plastic boards. If I forget to erase marks on the board and they get dried on, a little water and a towel will easily remove them. My only negative for this board is that after a few years of heavy use the court markings will start to be scraped off and the white coating will get scratched over time, but still usable. I have used 3 over 28 years of coaching, I replace them after about 6 to 10 years when they start looking aged and pass them down to JV or middle school coaches.I don't use the magnets so I won't comment on them. I found the magnets to just be to cumbersome and slow to use during a time out. Much easier to just use a dry erase marker, very quick and easy. I also like the fact that it comes with a dry erase marker that has Velcro attached and the board has Velcro on the clip so you can store the marker there. You can put the eraser under the clip. When I need to replace the maker I'm able to peel the Velcro off the old marker and put it on the new maker. I've done this about 4 times and the Velcro still adheres quit well to the marker.
