Looks like its solid and heavy...its hollow and not very heavy as I expected it to be. It works so far...

Update: After about 10 months [or 10 blade changes] the plastic prongs at the head have worn down and no longer attach to the blade, making the handle completely worthless.Real handsome, substantial looking, shiny bright chrome. Good-feeling thick handle. Easy to shave in whatever direction.Almost as good as the old Gilette handle I left behind. I looked at a lot of these for replacement.2 things to consider:• One, the handle is hollow. You might screw off the end and pour in some shot for heft. Or leave it as a stash for when you travel overseas.• Two is not a dealbreaker, but if the handle was an inch longer, the design of it would fit everybody's hand as intended, even in China. Course then, it would cost more.Best price, satisfying quality, arrives in good time.

Don’t buy this product. It came with the release button broken. The handle was metal, but is way too light for the cost. Returned the broken handle, but the free return is not free, I had to buy a new shipping envelope. The only thing covered was the UPS freight fee.

Doesn’t live up. Not what I expected. The quality is not very good. The razor is very light.

Failed after 9 months. will not hold a blade any longer.
