FolkArt Laser Cut Painting Stencil, Tangier

This stencil is just great! I bought it because I wanted to paint my mailbox. Unfortunately the mailbox has very slick surface, so the paint I was using ran a little, but that has nothing to do with the stencil itself. This stencil is just the right amount of sturdy and pliable. I was able to place it on curved areas as well as flat areas and as you can see in my photo, it gave me pretty clean lines even considering the difficult surface I had to work with. So, needless to say, I would recommend this product and I would definitely purchase from this seller again!

This was my first time painting. I wanted to paint some designs in my daughters room and came across this stencil. I am so glad I bought this. I had no idea it came in a 3 pack, which made it much easier for me. A friend suggested to not use the sponge brushes and to only use a stenciling brush. I would agree with that statement. I tried one with a sponge and that one leaked a bit so I think most people that complained about leaking must have used a sponge. There was no leaks on any other ones since I used the stencil brush for all others. If you are able to zoom in on my picture, you can tell the third one from left is the one I used sponge on.P.s: I tried to add a picture but it's not letting me. I'll keep trying..

I used these to stencil on body paint for a black light party, because without stencils I'm not much of an artist. I thought they results came out pretty well. However the paint I used was very watery and tended to seep underneath the stencil plastic and blend in with the pattern, creating a smudge effect in some places. But that was no fault of this product. I would say to anyone else wanted to use these on skin/ body, to just be patient and let the design dry completely before removing the stencil. And if possible ask a friend for help.

So, I was really excited to receive this stencil and use it, but was disappointed with the results. I love the designs however, the stencil did not contain the paint to the design, so a lot of the paint ran together through the stencil. I've never used a stencil before, so maybe I did it wrong by trying to use paint first. And maybe spray paint would work better? But next time I'll try to draw the design on with a pen and then paint within the lines of the pen. Hopefully it will come out better that way.

Works great on fabric but if you're using paint on any other surface it's going to bleed under the stencil even with the sponging technique. Also I used painters tape with it to hold it down while I was tracing and after I tried to remove it it tore a bit. This item took about 2 weeks to get here and came in a large box, which is odd because its a a single sheet or plastic?

I should have read more carefully, but this was a pack of three of the exact same stencil. I thought I was buying one - which was all I needed. Otherwise the stencils were cute and fine. I wish I were a better stencil-er, I tried sponge brush tapping, I tried spray paint, I tried a small brush and painting and I got some leakage no matter what I did. But the print was exactly what I wanted for a project make-over.

Super cute designs. Bought them to paint designs on furniture for our room. The stencils are pretty thin, which makes filling and removing the stencils a little difficult. Would have given five stars, but I still had to do the painting myself, stencils did not self paint.

This is my most favorite stencil! I love that there is one large medallion, 2 smaller ones, and an even smaller one. The elephant makes it even more special! So far, I've used them in my art journal and I really like having the different sized medallions on 1 or 2 pages - it adds a nice look to the pages. I also like how the medallions aren't the same but have similar designs. The designer did a great job with this stencil!!! A+++++. I wish there were more stencils out there with this idea.

Bad product, extremely filmsy and too high priced. Don't go for it at all.

Very nice stencil, good quality, shipped safely. Many options for this design. Great for fabric, walls, paper decor, costuming, plaster, ink, acrylic and watercolours. Once you have a good dry consistency, just play and see what you come up with. I stencilled my yoga towel and it worked beautifully! I had no issues holding it down whilst applying paint, even thinner acrylics. Load the brush properly and go for it.
