St Croix 80P20278-R 2 RPM Auger Feed Motor Pellet Stove for Afton Bay Ashby Auburn Eclipse Element Greenfield Hastings Lancaster Lincoln Pepin Prescott Revolution SCF-050 York Insert

This was a direct replacement for my St Croix Fireplace Insert pellet stove. I had trouble finding the correct rpm but this listing called it out clearly & now my stove is working perfectly again.

Easy install for perfect

While it may be a good replacement for some St, Croix models, it feeds pellets way too fast for the Afton Bay I have. It clocks at 3 rpm, description says 2rpm, label on motor says 2.2 rpm. It is NOT the correct replacement for part # 80P20278-R. Although it fits I could not run stove but only on the #1 of 5 feed setting as it fed pellets way too fast. I just went to a local dealer and that motor is exact match in appearance and specs of the oem motor, unlike this one. Now it's basically a useless $50 paperweight!

Only thing I had to do was cut the spade connectors off the wires and crimp bigger ones on. The contacts on this replacement motor were bigger. Not a big deal at all and once I put all back together with the new motor, my stove works just as good as new again.
