Cutetonic® Ultra Pure Magnesium Chloride Flakes Dead Sea Origin (25KG Sack)

This is a white plastic bucket with a re-sealable lid, filled with 5kg of magnesium chloride hexahydrate (MgCl2) flakes. As such it’s a heavy item and you will need sufficient space to store it in the bathroom or other location. You scoop the magnesium flakes into the bathwater and then soak in it.The bio-science is inconclusive, but it’s accepted that magnesium is a vital mineral for health and especially for good immune system function. Modern city lifestyles, stress and processed food can lead quickly to Mg depletion. Soaking in MgCl2) flakes is certainly therapeutic & relaxing and leaves your skin feeling rejuvenated and fresh. Since we started using it a few weeks ago, we both sleep more soundly and wake up refreshed and full of energy.One caution: if you leave the lid off the bucket, the MgCl2 flakes absorb moisture from the atmosphere (especially in a bathroom where the air often fs full of moisture) and go hard as a rock, sitting in a pool of milky-coloured liquid. This doesn’t affect the Mg chemically but changes its consistency when handling it.Also be aware that if you use this product regularly, then over time you’re going to accumulate a collection of empty, lidded plastic buckets!Verdict: good product and good value.

Good quality flakes, not sure what the "flavour" rating was about so I ignored that - as I don't believe this is something you ingest :DI use it for relaxing baths and super hot soak for absorbency, not sure about the pain relief element as I don't have pains (may be why I don't have pains) but magnesium is an essential for life and this way it's one less supplement to have to take. If I put too much in the bath I can tell as it helps with digestive 'movements'. Helps with a good nights restful sleep.

Excellent product and fast delivery. I am not sure why magnesium flakes are more expensive than Epsom Salt and they are harder to get in shops so I always buy online. Have had other brands in the past and they have now increased in price so it was good to find this at a reasonable cost. I use it regularly in the bath and notice such a difference, no more restless legs or grinding teeth and it feels less harsh in the water than Epsom salt does. Very happy with purchase and will buy again.

I have tried other magnesium brands but this is most definitely the best. Every time my husband and I have had a bath using these flakes we have practically floated down the stairs afterwards. We both also have a very restful sleep. Love it!
