Returned the yarn bowl the next day after receiving it, as it was neither the size or exquisite finish it was advertised to be. Paid for a larger size than received, and the finish was muddy.

This is a pretty bowl at a good price, but the spiral part where the yarns pulls through broke off on the first use. Now, it's just a bowl.

Bought two for gifts. Very nice.

I love this, it is exactly what I needed to keep even my largest balls of yarn from rolling away!

This was a gift for my mom and she absolutely loves it so far.

After spending two hours looking at all the yarn bowl available, I chose the Hagestad 7"X4" bowl. I love it! It arrived with the two crochet hooks, which are beautiful and a nice bag to keep it in. The craftmanship was beauitful with smooth even edges and the yarn fits perfect! I am impressed with this purchase and glad I chose the Hagestad bowl. It has enough weight to it that it stays put and beautifully finished.

First of all I ordered the 4x8 bowl and received a 3x7 bowl. The bowl was very rough but I was able to take fine sandpaper and carefully work off the spots that would snag yarn. The inside is not smooth and the base was very rough. What I could not fix were 4 large clamp marks along the base and the dents at the top where they cut into the wood to make the swirl design. Such a pretty piece of wood deserved better craftmanship. The clamp marks at the bottom make it look very cheep.
