*DISCLAIMER* I do not let my baby sleep on his stomach, I took the pic to show how much he "sank" into the baby side.When we first got the bed, it was on the Toddler side. I switched it to the baby side and it was quite firm. There was a slight odor that went away after 4 days. My almost 4 month old slept all right, but it was very hot for him. I got this bed thinking it would CHANGE MY WORLD, but it didn't. Mother of a newborn and back to work, I was willing to try anything for some better sleep.I think this would be better for 1 year old's than babies. The toddler side is not crazy soft like my memory foam bed but would have great support for toddlers.If anyone has a memory foam beds, you know heat is an issue. It didn't surprise me that my son had the same problem, but its not like he told me he was hot... I could just tell by picking him up and there was a lot of heat on the bed and a slightly clammy neck that it might have been too much for him.I did return it, he didn't sleep any better than the bed we already had. Easy return, just remember to keep the plastic bag that it came in. They requested we send in back in a bag. AND make sure you have a box twice the size you get it in to return it.--- Would I recommend it? yes... for toddlers. But the heat... I'm not a cold baby, I'm more of a warm/normal person when it comes to body heat. My husband is a HEATER and is hot all the time. We also live in MN, we tried this bed in our second winter/"spring". We like it cold in the house. So I guess I would say, its totally worth trying it.I hope this helps.

Finally a soft, sturdy and supportive mattress. My daughter is now a year old and she has never really been a great sleeper from the start and I have tried many different things to help her with that, but I never really thought about her mattress. It just happened to be when I was doing laundry and getting her crib sheets when it really dawned on me that her mattress wasn’t very comfortable. I mean sure, it was fine for when she was younger to have a firmer mattress but now I wanted to find one better for her. I came across many different mattresses and read a ton of reviews before making the decision to purchase this one. Personally I had no issues with the mattress once I opened it. There was no smell from the mattress as I saw in other reviews and no issue with it expanding (Only took 4 hours ) once taken out of the packaging. I can’t say that my daughter has slept through the night on it but I wasn’t really expecting that to happen, she has however gotten significantly better sleep since the switch. Overall I am very happy with this purchase and would Highly recommend !

At first I was hesitant when the mattress arrived all suctioned up, but it fluffed up once we followed the directions and has been beyond perfect! I haven’t had that sort of luck with ordering pillows online, normally I like to feel the product for myself, so I was very impressed. My daughter started sleeping in her crib from the bassinet at 5 months old and has been in the crib ever since, coming up on 2 years. The mattress doesn’t have springs, so it isn’t noisy. My child doesn’t find other mattresses anywhere near as comfortable. She prefers to nap in her crib over the mat on the floor due to the comfort. I added an extra mattress protector just incase for extra protection and this mattress has even survived the stomach flu. Extremely happy with this product!

I absolutely love this mattress! I’m so happy I chose this one. The waterproof cover is perfect. All the waterproof mattresses I was finding were made of hard plastic that cracked and flaked. This waterproof cover that goes over the foam mattress is soft and even the layer underneath that prevents water from sleeping through is smooth almost like soft leather. The ONLY thing I don’t like about this mattress is that the foam can rip very easily If you’re not careful. When pulling the mattress out of the crib I’ll pull up on the side, but not from the bottom, and the foam rips. I learned not to pull the mattress out like that real quick. It would also be nice if each side was labeled, side for baby and side for toddler. But I am so, so happy with my purchase. Don’t hesitate!!!

so I was nervous moving my infant from a bassinet to a crib because he slept so good in his bassinet. This mattress is sooooooooooo comfortable. I laid on it and i wanted one for me haha. Then I started putting him on it for naps to make sure he would transition well. When it came time for him to sleep on the mattress he slept for 6 hours straight. I could not believe how well he was doing. Even for naps he would sleep for 3 hours so this mattress for us is a must buy. If you are looking for something comfortable this is the mattress for your little one. You will not be disappointed.

My 18 month old now sleeps on his crib! After sleeping on my memory foam bed with me, he got used to the comfy feeling, therefore I knew I had to find something similar if I wanted him to sleep on his bed. After trying it for a week, I can say for sure that I am so glad I found this bed. It takes about two hours to fully expand and did not have a strong scent (in my case). As soon as he fell sleep on the bed, he stayed on it and slept the whole night without waking up. It is super comfy! One thing that it was confusing is that I was not sure which side was the softer one.Overall, I recommend this bed especially if you have a picky toddler!

To say that I'm impressed is to say nothing at all. My son's old mattress was covered with a plastic waterproof sheet that was not removable and made so much noise. He would not sleep in his bed because of this. This mattress has a removable cover although it can stay on as it's not plasticky and does not make any noise. The mattress is so nice! I would sleep on it my self! I hope my baby adjusts to it nicely. I think this was a good investment.
