HAFLINGERUnisex GZL Leather Trimmed Wool Clogs

My husband's "go to" house slipper
Shoes come off the minute we walk into our house, so a shoe that can provide support and is comfortable is a must. My husband discovered Haflinger clogs several years ago. At first, he was a bit reluctant--they are a bit costly for something he considers a slipper. However, they fit him perfectly, are solid and are very comfortable. They have a formed, cork sole with a rubberized bottom, so they don't slip. My husband is 78, is on his feet a lot, loves that these are slip-on yet secure, and has decided that they are worth the money since they meet all his needs and last for years. They can be worn outside, if you wish, since they are sturdy enough and look good. He's tried a couple of other brands, but comes back to Haflinger each time since his experience with them has been outstanding. He definitely recommends them.

Worth the money
I was happy with my old Haflinger clogs, but cheaped out when I needed to replace them. The ones I ordered were far inferior in fit and comfort to the Haflingers. The price difference was about $50, but well worth it. They are true to size. The cork soles create a perfect fit and are comfortable on the feet, the workmanship is excellent. Based on previous experience with the same model, I expect these to last a long time, and will not miss the extra cash I spent on them. If I need to replace these, I'll get the Haflingers in the first place.

My second pair
My first pair of Haflingers lasted through at least ten falls/winters/springs of hard around-the-property wear before they finally got holes this year. I had re-glued them several times. They kept going and going, but I decided they must be close to final implosion. I bought this new pair, which I love just as much. I wear them in the house mostly, but they do make quick trips outside.I wear B width shoes, but my feet are narrowish. These clogs are really too wide for me, but I make them work by using wool insoles, which I also purchase here on Amazon. I suppose thick socks would be okay, but here in Texas that can be too warm, even in the middle of winter (well, except for winter 2020 but let's not revisit that). I do wear regular socks with them when my ankles are cold, but most of the time I don't wear socks and simply embrace the fact that they're a bit large. The length is true to size. Love the arch support.

Supportive house shoes
I’ve wanted Haflinger shoes for a long time so was happy to find neutral colored ones at a lower price. They have good arch support, are comfortable and look nice. I wear 7.5-8 US so ordered size 8. They are perfect with heavy socks, but I got insoles so that they don’t flop around when I wear lighter weight or no socks.

Wish they made one size smaller or 1/2 sizes, they are so comfortable!
I haven't taken these slippers off (whenever I'm at home) since the day I purchased them! They are very comfortable, and though they are slightly too wide and too long on my feet (I wear 5.5 and these start at 6), I feel they are supportive. Because they are slightly large, they are not as easy to keep on my feet when I'm barefoot since they become too loose and clunky! I only wish they made one size smaller or 1/2 sizes. Us petite-sized feet people need quality shoes, too!My other concern is that the cork sole seems to be made with the newer cork substitution that one finds with wine bottles. I assume that this does not compromise the quality of the sole or the support. So far the felt on top and the sole seem to be holding up very well, so most likely this won't be a big issue. It's just that it's advertised as cork, when it's not really...

Warm and comfortable
Cold really hurts my feet because I have neuropathy and other problems. I've spent thousands trying to find shoes that are comfortable. These are very comfortable and keep my feet warm. Then I take then off when I'm off my feet, and slip them on when I get up so I don't go barefooted. Or leave them on if my feet are cold because they are comfortable. My arches are improving. The only problem is they are a tripping hazzard because, even though I had to wait a very long time for a second smaller size, they are still big. If I go down another size, I'm sure they will be too small. No half sizes. Would still buy them because of thier benefits. Just have to be careful.

Great slipper! Size down.
I’m a 7.5/8, but usually go with 8 to be safe. After reading reviews I sized down to a 7 in these and I’m so glad I did! At first, my toes could feel the end of the slipper but a couple days in and after wearing with thick socks, the slipper stretched to the perfect size and now the slippers feel quite roomy. They have great support and feel like you’re walking around the house in something good for your feet and back. I figured since we were home all day it was time to splurge and get these. I love them! Well worth the money.

These run very large
These shoes run large. Beware the relatively short return window.

Comfy warmth
As a diehard Birkenstocks wearer I came across these other German shoes and decided to give them a try, I'm very impressed!!

So comfortable!
Perfect for anyone with Plantar Faciitis to wear on wood floors! Very comfortable - this is my second pair of the same. The first pair lasted 7 years and I wear them all of the time!

chaussons très confortables
Ces chaussons sont légèrement larges pour quelqu'un qui des pieds fins. J'ai mis des semelles orthopédiques dedans et c'est parfait. Ils ont un bon maintien.
