I have been using this on my gate to the backyard. It's a sturdy lock. I'm sure someone with bolt cutters could cut this pretty quickly, but that's probably true of most locks. I'm not trying to create an impenetrable barrier, just looking to add a little extra security and deter people from entering the backyard.The large push buttons are hard to find and a nice feature. For those of us who don't see as well up close, it's hard to read tiny numbers on locks, so the buttons are ideal. You don't have to see the numbers, you only need to remember the pattern.I've had the lock outside for a year and a half. We don't get a lot of rain but the lock has held up nicely and no sign of rust. I actually bought the single lock and was so happy with it that I bought this three pack to use for other things. Three locks for $6 is a really good deal and these are handy little locks to have around. My husband takes one to use on the locker at the gym.

I have a daughter who is dysgraphic and has a hard time with numbers/left right confusion. This lock allows her to access her middle school locker with ease!

I wish the description had been more clear that I was buying 2 locks, but that's not a problem. I chose this set as muy husband is blind but didn't want to fumble with a key for his work locker.

It's more like a toy lock than a real one. Good for kids. Spend the extra money if you are looking to lock a gate like I was.

It’s a great lock but I wouldn’t recommend it if you have longer nails lol. Can’t press the numbers.
