This is the definitive edition of Leaves of Grass to have every poem Walt wrote. It is the 1892 edition plus has the 1855 version in it also, along with Walt’s preface. What’s great about this book is it also has Poems Excluded From Leaves Of Grass, Passages Excluded From Leaves Of Grass Poems, Uncollected Poems, Unpublished Poems, and Uncollected Manuscript Fragments.You can’t really afford to miss it if you’re walking the perpetual journey with Walt. everything was WONDERFUL. I did, however, receive it a day late, which was problematic for my class. BUT nonetheless, I was very happy.

I recently completed a poetry class where we got to study a lot of Whitman's work. This is a stunning collection that has an excellent collection of different Whitman poems. I have thoroughly enjoyed having the opportunity to get to know Whitman's work more in depth.

I was very pleased that the seller offers expedited shipping, and, the total was very reasonable even with that compared to the regular new price plus shipping.Since I am an English major, it made more sense for me to purchase a gently used copy since I had 15 other texts to purchase for classes , and I found the purchase of this Whitman poetry I needed, a good bargain :) .

Another beautiful Norton Critical Edition. This is probably my 12th Norton Critical Edition. I love them and always find the content well organized and useful. It is interesting to be able to read contemporary and modern critics along with the original author's work.

Whitman continues to influence American culture to this day because of his timeless observations of what we think of as American life.

The book was good as new, the only thing that wasn't so good was the timing. I have a six week course and didnt get the book until the 4rd week of the course after ordering it the 1st Monday that I started the course. So it took 3 weeks to come. other then the timing I think that the book is great.

Se dovessi consigliare un'edizione inglese di questa straordinaria raccolta, consiglierei questa Norton per l'ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Volume molto curato.
