I wanted a straw that removed biological contaminants like bacteria and giardia
It is advertised as "makes water safe to drink" but when you get it, the package says that you need to collect it from a safe source, then either boil it or add purification tabs. Then it says that it removes debris and improves taste. I wanted a straw that removed biological contaminants like bacteria and giardia. The ad did not make that clear.
