Amazon Basics Light Blocking Room Darkening Blackout Window Curtain with 2 Panels Grommets, for Living Room and Bedroom, 52 x 63 inches, White - Set of 2

We had a few that we purchased years ago and wanted to add a few more. The white color worked with the older curtains and it darkens the room and keeps it cooler during the day.

I got these because we have this giant window in the living room but this helps keep that nasty heat out. I can take a nap without the sunshine beating into my eyes. I was a little nervy because the price was good but dang these are thickkk and work! Were a little wrinkly but these came out within a couple days!

The curtains themselves block 100% of light. However, light comes in through the grommets, around the top and sides, and where the panels meet. I want to be able to tell when it is daylight outside, so this works for me. Hung normally, I can see my hand in front of my face at night (bright security light outside), and aI don't need to turn on a light in daytime.If you want a completely dark room, especially for daytime sleeping, you need to get a non-grommet version, hang them so they touch the ceiling, and possibly tape the edges to your walls. If you have a larger window, you might want to Velcro or sew the panels together.I am using three sets to cover a 10ft window. That covers the window, with a moderate amount of gathering (similar to the product photos). I went with the second longest size, as I don't want to block my baseboard heat.They're ugly. My white ones are a faint blueish white, and look like they belong in a hotel. Because the fabric is so thick, they don't have a nice drape to them. You'll need to iron them, or mist them and run them through a dryer, to get the wrinkles out.

Update - Ordered an additional set. Those are darker, they're not beige, they're light brown. Sending them back and reordering.Update- The new ones arrived today (September). These are thinner than the old ones and the back is bright white instead of beige. I hope they last as long.---I've had those for over 3 years now. The back of my house faces south west and gets a TON of sun. The rooms can become furnaces on bright sunny days. These curtains have helped a lot in reducing the amount of heat.They're not pretty, but the quality is there. They feel more like industrial curtains you'd find in a commercial setting. After 3 years, I tried to wash them, the backing peeled off. They're not washable (perhaps when they're new?) For the price, having lasted 3 years is good enough.After over 3 years of cooking in the sun, the 2 pairs I have in the master bedroom are due for a replacement. The curtains themselves look brand new but the backing that's continually exposed to the sun is pulverizing and has become a power which can easily be wiped off. The curtains look great, but they are no longer opaque, light comes through when the sun is shining. Since the main purpose for me is the thermal ability, I need to replace them with fresh ones. This has not happened to all the curtains, only the ones that face the sun continually for half the day.Quality product!

This was a great deal. I am furnishing a massage office and these work wonderful for blocking the light during sessions. When not in session they glide open easily to allow for sunshine to fill the space. I washed and hemmed prior to hanging. I placed in dryer for a very short time (they don’t recommend) and it seemed to ease the wrinkles. I ironed on a steam setting. You have to watch that the rubberized backing doesn’t melt. I think they look lovely and for the cost to outfit the whole wall, it was a real deal. I’m happy with this purchase.

Nothing to say but WOW amazing product for the money. I compared it to high quality and in my book there none. Amazing fast friendly service. Affordable for all. I can tell difference in all thermal, sound ,light,and quality. A must buy for anyone in he market for this product. Picture online doesn’t do it justice much more beautiful in person 5 stars . These light blocking panels are exactly right for my guest room except for one big issue. I cannot get the wrinkles out. First I steam ironed them and it made no difference. The drapes were so tightly shrink- wrapped that the wrinkles are now part of the fabric.I took them to a dry cleaner and paid $60 to have the four panels professionally pressed or steamed. Most of the wrinkles are still there. That process cost almost as much as the panels cost from Amazon. Definitely not worth $130. I am still considering returning them.I gave this a 3 star because the product is a good one and the shrink wrap is what ruined the panels.

Did your neighbors install a driveway light RIGHT in front of your bedroom windows? Did your neighbors also decide to put a light bulb that seems to be powered by 2 megawatts ALL NIGHT?Do you wake up multiple times a night due to this?!? Then these curtains. Are. For. You.Because in life you have to choose your battles, I opted to take the most peaceful option: upgrade my "blackout" curtains to these amazon ones. I trusted that out of the 47k reviews, someone, somewhere had had the same battle me and my spouse had: inconsiderate neighbors.Now, thanks to these curtains, we are able to get restful sleep and be productive society members instead of a caffeine-powered zombies.

Me dio un poco de miedo al inicio porque vi gente que decía que parecen cortinas de baño, pero igual me aventuré.Las pedí en beige y debo decir que las amo!Blackout: Excelente! Tenía unas de Home Depot mucho más caras (porque las compras por hoja) y no sólo no estaban tan largas como estas sino que el Blackout no era tan bueno.El Blackout de estas cortinas es tal que opté por abrirlas un poco porque en la mañana estaba tan obscuro que no me levantaba a tiempo para el trabajo.Calidad: Hay mucha gente que veo que se queja, pero yo no entiendo porqué. La calidad es muy buena, el color es como el de la imagen y no se ven baratas.Por otro lado, hay personas que se quejan de que vienen arrugadas y las planchan o lavan, NO HAGAS ESO, cuélgalas y en menos de una semana sólitas se desarrugan.Por último, recuerda que son Blackout!!! Todas las cortinas Blackout tienen una cubierta como de plástico en la parte de atrás, literal, eso es lo que ayuda al efecto. No sé si por eso se quejan en otros reviews

玄関と部屋の間仕切り用に横110cm～縦210cm～のカーテンが欲しくて色々探してこれを買ってみました。そんなに重いものでは無かったので100均の150円突っ張り棒利用して使ってます。遮光性は充分にあるし、遮熱性も多少ある、洗濯もし易く買って良かった品でした。

白は全くオフホワイトではなく漂白した青白い色で、家庭のインテリアとしてはあまり見ない色で予想外でした。生地はしっかりしており遮光効果もあります。部屋の間仕切りに考えていましたが、天井から床まで来るこの長さでこの価格（2000円程度）は良く、染色して使おうかと思っています。アウトレット購入でしたが、割と大きめの薄い汚れがありタッセルは付属していませんでした。
