Atacama Atabites SMD Z7.0HD Stand Filler 7.0KG Tub

Having researched filling speaker stand with sand, lead etc, I plumped for Atabites mainly for their ease of use and the unbeatable denseness of those small bites.I decided to carefully fill my stands using a small kitchen funnel and a scoop. That way, I didn't lose any Atabites to the floor; periodically tapping the stands with a metal ring until the resonance was no more. I filled my stands 3/4 full which was enough to both keep them balanced and sounding ring-less. My Klipsch RP500m speakers sound more alive as a result.I was impressed that the documentation came with a handy guide outlining the total amount of Atabites recommended to adequately fill my chosen "Atacama" stands. Luckily mine required the contents of only one 7KG tub.I would definitely recommend these Atabites to enhance your speaker stand. They did mine and I'm very happy with my purchase.Note: Just be careful how you handle the tub as they have been known to be a little weak; Carry them by the handle and always place them down, don't drop them from any height.

great product from mark at hi fix. the package was damaged when i received it but mark had no hesitation in replacing my order with a new tub of atabites.would recommend hi fix for any of your hi fi requirements.

Impressive desinity and gives a great weight increase to stands. I opted for buying enough to half fill the stands.

Just received my tub which was unfortunately smashed. It has obviously been dropped and as I opened the outer black bag the contents went flying everywhere. So I’m not happy to have lost content before I’ve even started Filling my stands.

really quick delivery and updates, this speaker stand filler is defo worth the price and better than using sand in speakers, good quality stuff, so small but yet so heavy, makes you wonder how it can weigh so much for the size and much cleaner to use than sand

These work well, much better than sand. Atacama have made it more difficult to fill with sand. These are tiny tiny metal discs.
