American Plastic Toys Mega Construction Set, Made In USA, 2 Heavy-Duty Vehicles, Dump Truck & Loader, Tilting Bed, Scoop, Orange, Sturdy, Ages 18 Months and Up

Was a bit intimidating when opened box and had to put the two trucks together. But I knew it came in pieces from earlier reviews. However was pretty easy to put together once I got started. I have two three year olds that play with them and seems pretty durable at least since playing indoors for about three months. Can’t wait to get them outside as they are a large toy for small spaces. The kids run through the house pushing the trucks. Love to watch them load other toys with the loader (like puzzle pieces) and dump in dump truck then haul away. Not going to last forever as they like to lean on them and looks like tires are starting to push out. But the toys was exactly what I was looking for: all plastics, good size and orange (what the kids wanted as well).

I was SO happy to find American Plastics toys on line at Amazon! We have a plastic truck made by them that we bought twenty-four years ago that my grandkids are now enjoying! An extra bonus is finding toys made in the USA and not requiring batteries! I recently bought the large 16" dump truck and two of the plastic schoolbusses for two of my grandsons. Then I decided to order this digger truck and its dumptruck to take on our family trip to the beach this summer, since we have five grandsons coming with us. The Mega Construction set is really big, but a great size for the two-year old and wonderful for loading and hauling blocks while we are inside this winter. The two vehicles do have to be assembled (the website doesn't mention this) but my husband put both together easily. There are no metal parts, just plastic, so it should be a great set for water and sand play without any problem of rusting. The shovel lifts and dumps easily and the dump truck (not pictured) is slightly different from the 16" truck but designed to work perfectly with the digger truck. If you have a little one who loves trucks, you must get this set!

Trucks are Christmas present and unhappy with purchase. Truck pictured missing the top part of truck. Very disappointed, once I take item apart and repackage and take to ups, I have spent more time than cost of item.

We purchased this Mega Construction Set as a birthday gift for our 3-year-old grandson. He was so excited when he saw the outside of the box. THEN, we opened the box and found a "bucket of parts". The parts weren't even separated between dump truck and loader. Construction was fairly easy with the instructions, but had I known construction was required I would have done it before presenting the birthday gift. There was nothing in the toy description on Amazon about construction being required. This is a big oversight. I sure would like to have known beforehand.

Had to assemble these toys before giving them to our grandson. Once assembled they seem durable enough. They are entirely made of plastic so should be good outside (no rust!)

These are huge and entertain kids, but wont last long because of poor quality plastic and interlock system. One good thing about this is that it doesn't have sharp edges.

Great quality toys and great customer support! One of the parts for the loader was twisted a little when we received it. My wife called the number on the instructions and they sent out a new piece quickly. Our children would have never cared about the piece, but it was noticeable to me putting it together.Great toys and my kids love playing with them. Very well made. Nice and strong. They should last for years.

Got these as a gift for my grandsons. Box appeared to have been opened and closed a few times. My guess is that it was a return. During assembly we noticed we had one tire that was a different color and parts were dirty. Toys are not to the quality of others that I have purchased from American Plastics Toy Co. but you get what you pay for.
